Yeah there is zero buildup. Ekta heroines do such sacrifices for people they love.

Sahiba goes around answering whole world even for valid accusations but has empathy for Kiara who insults her all the time (for something that won't be changed by faking pregnancy)

But from another perspective, Ekta fls sacrifice their happy marriages/relationships for these illogical reasons, Sahiba is not really sacrificing anything as Angad and her barely have a marriage.
