Dhruv was a toddler when Lalita gave him to Susheela- probably 2 or 3 years at best.

And Ravi wasn't his biological father, just an uncle.

Not too tough to imagine a scenario where he doesn't remember him clearly.

Tara throws petals on Dhruv (showing her face to him 😳); then runs away and uses the sound of her bangles to tell him where she is.

He finally catches her odhni, but they're on different sides of the wall. Dhruv tells Tara that she has to give an answer.

Senapati overhears Dhruv on this side of the wall, and then crosses over and sees Tara on the other side, and is infuriated.

Precap is Senapati and Dhruv having a tussle- Senapati says the sky is hers if she flies with him, but if alone, her wings will get cut. The servants kidnap Tara.

That's what. It's the 21st century we're talking about. Dhruv never coming across/trying to find his father's picture seems highly unlikely unless he consciously vowed to never dig any information about the man who abandoned his mother.
