I think they have no idea how to insert Manyu and his mother into the wedding and give them something to do. So they end up writing such half baked stuff.

They are just trying to recreate Anisha scenario here... Probably to initiate Kairav being insecure and unsure of the whole shaadi thing 😆

Plus rule is ke during side jodis Shaadi - Bride/Groom/both should be sad, unsure or just stupid! The only leads I know were little sad were during ceremony was Naitik Akshara 😆
