I don’t understand how you date someone, get engaged to them, and not know their politics is different from years. Do people just not speak to each other ,

Whether we want to accept it or not… TB is basically PTV’s 50 shades of grey… literally, figuratively and metaphorically.

The writing is trash. The show is face palm. The actors. production house and channel got what they wanted out of it.
Do people think 50 shades is a qualitative literary masterpiece?!? Nope!!
Do we think TB is the qualitatively the best thing to come out of PTV? nope!!

Do they think it did something for the publishing industry that few other books (like twilight) did. Yes.

Do we think it did something for Geo Tv? Sure.

Are these two questions and their answers two separate things? Yes

Do fans mix them up? Yes

Somewhere along the way we mix up “popular” with quality. That is almost never true. Popular only means something that represents a meaning that is “broadly shared” in society. A lot of things that are broadly shared in our society - especially south Asian is frankly infested with a huge dollop of patriarchal beliefs and chauvinistic norms. If anything, TB and Fifty shades remind us what a long way we have to go to truly understand the pitfalls of regressive thinking.

ting tong

I have a feeling his overall look for Ishq murshid is gonna be very different from rest of his roles

Yup!! I wish this show must be huge hit and a big break for Billu...
