It’s quite by accident that I visited IF after a very long time. Since I was in there I was just aimlessly scrolling and this title caught my eye. I thought to myself it’s been 12 years and I probably read all the FF’s out there but still curiosity made me open it. And boy was I glad. I never would have guessed that there is such a brilliant writer out there that I haven’t stumbled upon before. Your writing is thrilling gripping and intriguing all at once. This is not a subject I would have liked to read but your writing just pulled me right into it and i couldn’t stop reading. Since I was late and you were already 7 chapters in I was able to semi binge. While working, while cooking I kept going at it. It’s been a while since I came across an author who could take over my life and mind like this. I wanted to check out all your works and came across Darmiyan. That was so emotional I don’t think I can formulate words to express my feelings. Is this is your second story? I’m so looking forward to the next part of the story.

Guys, I know a few of you have been looking forward for the update today. Chapter coming up by 12. its a long one and took its time :)

Thank you so much Shyami. It means a lot. Yeah this is my second Arshi story. First one beinh Darmiyaan. I had written a few of them but i never posted in the IPKKND Forum. Glad to know that you enjoyed both :)

Did someone talk to her, told her about Lavanya perhaps??. So she now thinks that there is nothing to salvage and thats why she was ready for divorce.

Please next update soonish😊, I am sure Arnav will find out the truth. The suspense will murder me slowly and surely in the meanwhile

Awesome story read it In a go...we read rare stories from Arnavs pov u described him beautifully..u can't just stop with the cliffhanger..hoping arnav would go to khushi now and both get to see sense

Arpita you are a very cruel person u know that right? U leave us at such a big cliffhanger and we have to wait a week to know more 😡. Jokes apart but I tried to make sure there was nothing on next page before I acknowledged to myself that the chapter is over🤣

Where to start. Let's start with our favorite SMJ. As Khushi found out that though shyaam is saying he is changed, her parents believe he has changed but ultimately he is still the old MCP but just with a brand new cover of understanding person. I just hope Khushi trusts her instincts and refuses this marriage. She is right to feel aversion and she is actually not in frame of mind to become a wife to someone else. She should just now stand up for herself.its high time

Payal is smart and intuitive. She has been true friend to Arnav and Khushi so is akash. Akash and Paayal's conversation showed what Arnav Khushi lacked. Conversation of equals. As both of them said Arnav has taken almost all decisions for them and Khushi has just gone along and when she actually tried to assert her wifey rights, she got to know about divorce and torn up the note

The note, it is so heart wrenching. What lack of communication do to a happy relationship. The lack of communication and care led to withering of it just like khushi's garden

Coming back to Arnav...finally payal was able to dealt a blow to his denial armor and made few hits. It's good she told him the truth of Khushi not letting go of the pills. Arnav has finally been cut off his knees and the letter is going to be the final nail. I just hope he packs his bags and go to Lucknow and talk to Khushi. Tell her everything and let her choose a future she wants for once and not take away that choice from her

Anjali seemed happy talking about her husband and child. Was she suffering from domestic abuse and didn't let anyone know? What exactly happened to her which took heavy toll on Arnav and khushi's relationship too

P.s. the interaction between Mahesh and Arnav at the start is significant but I almost forgot about it when I read the rest of the chapter. This are happening very fast. Can't wait to see how they unfold

You know whenever you update, the first time I read is like I read the important parts and stop because my emotions take over, I can not concentrate.

It’s weird you know at the end it’s fiction. But somewhere it has touched something in me that I can not describe. May be because of marriages crumbling around me, may be as a girl I still feel it’s always us who have to adjust more. You can be from anywhere in the world but the fact is in most cases it’s we who have to adjust. I don’t know.

Plus you write beautifully that’s for sure.

Coming back to the chapter, I feel so sad for Khushi, Shyam is not someone she wants and I hope for once she stands up for herself and just refuse.

But the question is does Arnav actually deserve her. He does miss her, he may love her but does he love her enough. Like the photo as his wallpaper, is that actually a habit which he keeps telling himself or is that love.

If Khushi had not left and remained friends like he wanted would it still make him so sad and miserable like he is now even if she was not his wife anymore.

Then he is so sure her new husband will love her, if she was so loveable why did you let her go. I really want to bang his head like Payal.

For success he is ready to do anything even let one person go from his life who never wanted anything from him just gave.

And the biggest obstacle is his INFIDELITY which is stopping him. I don’t think that can be forgiven.

But at least he should apologise.

Also, I feel Arnav was expecting that Khushi will contest the divorce. Was he expecting that she will forgive him for his cheating episode with Lavanya when she begs him not to break the marriage.

Honestly I am confused whether Arnav actually loves Khushi or not.

I kept editing my comment as there is so much to write but i am not able to put everything in words

As this story is from Arnav's POV, we are getting this thoughts and actions from his thoughts and those around him

Khushi keeps showing her strength through small actions like by not reaching out to him once. even if Arnav tells her everything, talks, begs her i hope she takes a moment and reflect on everything her life has been so far, her own aspirations and dreams and her wants

I want to see payal's reaction on knowing about his cheating. I think she will be angry on behalf of khushi too :P, i am guessing khushi has heard rumours or did she gets the photographs arnav tried to suppress initially on the day of anniversary? but i doubt that. i will go with my guess that she has guessed but dont know concretely :)

. why i am making this another comments is i am happy i predicted arnav will miss the domesticity he so resented at the start. now the question is does he just want khushi around because he is habitual to her or does he actually wants her back for real and want the original relationship they shared. will he take the required efforts even if khushi comes back?

what happened in past? looks like khushi meets with accident in that small flashback of 2006?

you have provided so much updates in this chapter that new things keep popping in mind but i am rambling and i will stop

Payal told Arnav that Khushi did not get off the pills because she knew Arnav did not want children. She wanted to be with him and be happy with him being happy. The note she wrote told him she wanted to be with him.She was ready to embrace his world, be with him, go to the parties, events.She told him not having children did not matter ,just being with him mattered. Arnav did not read the complete letter then but would it have mattered at all?They had stopped talking and for Arnav marriage had become stale. It was a habit to fell her around running the house ,while avoiding each other. So sad. Reading the note now ,he knows what she wanted.Will this change anything?
