If she had said she doesn’t like it, there is no argument there. But if you get into my husband mummy daddy etc etc it comes across like you would be ok with it if your family was ok with it.

These things are real issues - people struggle with saying no and drawing boundaries - but will they show the struggle and overcoming it or will they go with these weird routes.

if they are trying to show this than that is great! this is a real issue where people struggle to tell others to back off...
