Gurmeet’s popularity was because of the show Geet. His portrayal of Maan Singh Khurana was the hottest thing known to mankind. However, the moment he was out of character and clean shaven, biggest turn off in history.

Watching that first TV serial on Indian TV with my aunt who was an avid K-serial watcher. Kyunki, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasauti, Kaise Yeh Pyaar Hai, Kkusum, Kundali, Bhabhi, Saarthi, Kayamath, Kahin Kisi Roz, Kahin toh Hoga, Kesar, Kis Des, Tere Liye, etc etc etc.

Led me down a path of following ITV for 20+ years, joining IF and shipping characters. Complete waste of time, energy and brain cells, but very very addictive.

Also regret writing fanfiction for ITV. Can never reveal that to anyone except my husband, ever. Wrote for the likes of Angad-Kripa, Sujal-Kashish, Armaan Riddhima, Mayank Nupur, Arnav Khushi and so many other TV couples. Latest was Yeh Rishta Gen 3 (Harshad Chopda fan). Under a different name of course. Would never reveal that identity to anyone 😆

Regret every second of it. But it’s fun so can’t stop 😆
