Assuming Hindu Marriage Act:

You do not need to register your marriage for it to be valid/legal.

You need not get married in from of priest or Agni for it to be legal

If two consent adults say they are married and have witness( friends, family or others) to say they are married then it’s a valid marriage. So during the Pooja NeelaAmma was witness and Akshara and Nav keep on repeating they are pati patni so they are in a legal marriage.

Unless Abhi does not have the divorce decree. If he never filed for divorce then NavShu’s marriage is not valid.

OR Nav dies then Ak is widowed and turns single.

I seriously hope that this is wat ends up happening & AK is forced to live with AB & she demands it should b just them living away from their families….if they kill Nav, it’s again down another guilt trip 😓
