It would have been more convincing had they done a series of events to challenge the thought process of the kingdom.

Also, I don't think this was the right time for this whole thing. Mahaveer's surgery has to be the priority. They could have fought for women's rights after his surgery. Nobody is running away other than Mahaveer's life.

They could have convinced the king to let Tara be Dhruv's assistant for Mahaveer's surgery without involving the praja. After the successful surgery, kisi ko convince karne ki zaroorat nahi padti.
