this maybe one of those season where an obsessive, impulsive angry, and could have been tagged as villain guy was shown as ML and hailed too😭 legacy ki itni band bajane ke baad they should just unite AkshNav and end this show...

legacy ki band jija sali and behen k obsession se pehle hi baj gya tha. no proper character sketch, writers ka amensia while writing day to day epis, no focus on other relationships. people are here so quick to villainze this gen, while ignoring this gen got short end of stick. they did whatever they could with stepmother treatment from makers.

Now only Punar Vivah of Manjari and her adbut romantic love story can increase trp. Usually Yeh Rishta weddings last a month. make Manju’s wedding a 2 month affair and it will be something. Abhimanyu crying buckets on her bidaai will add to the emotional drama ..bye manju bye..

Twitter par before second leap, I had seen very selected clip of this show - that includes - first AbhiRa meeting, trampolin heart in air, lauta do, and kicking out of Akshara...

After she was kicked out there were lot of sympathy videos for Akshu showing all her past traumas with added Abhimanyu kicking out that did make me wonder how bad this show may have been... But I still didn't care much... Till that second leap.

As far as treatment is concerned, there has been lot more clips but one thing that remains certain is that Abhimanyu's character always remained distasteful, I for once came across happy family clips of Birlas and could rather be in aww with Manjiri - Akshara equation, Parth being better guy and thanks to @Firewings_Diya, I actually felt that Birla had happy family moments despite of characters like Harsh, Manjiri and also Abhimanyu .. Yes, I would continue keeping him in that category because no matter what childhood trauma does not whitwash character's actions... Had he been shown as grey/devilish rather than 'flawed' because of trauma, it would have still been better off... But here they made him do craziest things under Childhood trauma jaap.

Amount of hatred Arohi gets is also insane, but people tend to ignore everything Abhimanyu did to her - basically he used her but just because she had grey shade, that's fine and she deserved it - yeh kaisa logic hai? Abhimanyu and Arohi are same in so many ways - both had childhood reasons (insecurities, trauma, losses, etc.), both were wrong, but Arohi seems to have realized her mistakes, she may have been forgiven easily but kam se kam she owned it up in front of all, Abhimanyu ne toh woh bhi thik se nai kiya... Yet he is hailed.. And Arohi gets blamed because she isn't FL is unfair or she is block between Abhira.

I do not disagree that this gen is too messed up from the start and seems like makers just took leap randomly without proper planning editing - forgot to add - I had little higher hope from this gen because they casted HC but nothing, it continued to be stupid show featuring teenage lovers jumping and dancing around... Kaash thoda planning kar lete but I do feel that ab it's bringing back little bit of flavor but without family drama from Abhinv, I don't know how will it play out.. Also most likely this show will be off air soon😆 I do consider RS as real villain of this gen... He didn't do great job in properly characterizing lead... Akshu jr. se jyada weak lead koi nai hai iss show mein...

if you want to go by twitter link my feed is filled with abhi the best husband, best dad, best son, best bro, abhira old scenes, him standing up for akshara at every step, bashing people on her behalf. does that mean hes devta? of course not. or there are accounts in twitter posting how akshara is bad mom/wife/daughter/sis. is she actually that bad? again no

his antics are never justified under childhood trauma lmao. he never gave excuses like i m sorry i lied bcz i have seen my mom unhappy. i am sorry i threw u out cause my dad was trash. he has owned upto his mistake, even now he says he has done wrong in that white day epi. even when he went to marry aro he had never said it was bcz of his trauma. hes the last person riding on trauma prn. he has taken solace in god, his mom and akshara now his kid. never in trauma. he had taken meds. never justified his wrongdoings on trauma.

-he never blamed his sibilings for xyz things like aro

-never bribed people

- in his relationship with akshara never lied abt his true intention

-never tried to take over a hospital after faking love to another man and marrying him/her

-didnt involve in hit and run and fled the scene

-didnt forge education

Ok... AbhiM does acknowledge his mistakes only to repeat them again and again and again.....

But that is not the point... All his 'negetive traits ' are because he had a traumatic childhood... This is what I have been listening in forum from a long time

His anger--- traumatic childhood

His lack of trust --- traumatic childhood

His extreme personality --- traumatic childhood

His emotional outbursts -- traumatic childhood

He can do anything and people will come traumatic childhood card... I am so fed up of this oh!!! And the butchering on white day card

I understand that traumatic childhood can cause personality problems...and it is really bad.

But this guy can do anything under that blanket...

I would have felt sympathy for him if he knew about his shortcomings and then tried overcome it. And if he was shown trying to change himself yet failing and still keep on trying then it it would have been so much better.

But this guy treats all his negetive qualities like jewels on his crown.

He told aru about his love towards Ak but what was the need to force ak to confess... If he was ready to sacrifice the do it properly... Nahi he had to half ass the sacrifice also..

He can only understand his pain his sorrow his sacrifice all his ..

I have seen episodes and everytime he is way too unlikable...

And about ak... She is third hated after Manju and aru from the females side... Lol...

No one exactly likes her.

But unlike @shashsb_26 I was disappointed to see HC in YRKKH from the first promo itself... No actor change the creative direction of the show.. I did not have any much expectations from story side...

Normal people blame the creatives only... Just some crazy people cannot differentiate between reels and real...

😆 This show has no side to choose, it just has list of randomly thrown situation to pick. And😆 only thing I changed my idea on in the forum is that Parth wasn't bad and Shefali wasn't always great...

Second thing that I am learning (thanks to you) is to say makers have done bad job while writing Abhimanyu ka character... And I also say, Akshara ka character is big time loser! Pranali ka acting mujhe pasand nai hai, and HC ka acting I have seen in past, it's not this what's in this show...

Also while we are talking about sides, without Abhir in picture Abhinav is quite boring for me and I don't mind admitting that... He is just too unrealistic and bland.

And for me Akshara was wrong to hide the truth from Abhimanyu post six years or when she had chance... No, she didn't have to bring that upfront but there wasn't any need to even hide it...

Ok, he may own upto his mistake, Arohi may not have apologized to Akshara but she did save her from chandelier and stuff - it's just actions that speak clearer. I do not disagree that Arohi has gotten the free pass for not being lead and so will Manjiri get that too. Abhimanyu ka redemption arc, I am not sure if writers are even planning it..

If Abhimanyu as a character hasn't blamed his actions on traumatic childhood then I have definitely seen his fans do it - I don't really want to spend time in going and finding posts.. But let's say, if it's not trauma card, can I say fans have been using sympathy card to justify him? I mean just the list you have added in the post to Umawanderer - not having a perfect birthday and having done all for sibling without expecting much, etc. These are all still not the reason to be jerk to woman you loved who just suffered miscarriage.

In past I have heard he had major anger management issues too, and he had used Arohi to gauge Akshara's feeling.. Yes, it's debatable but the justification I have seen so far isn't convincing enough.. But that's my opinion and I don't think it's important. His character had always been that impulsive but had he been promoted as someone who was grey / villain it would have made sense as it could bring scope for redemption. In past I have seen some crazy shows jahan promote karke bhi sahi redemption nai diya, toh this show doesn't seem to have people acknowledge that needs to be redeemed.

PS- I don't watch shows for actors, but just story. i had seen yrkkh in past till Kairav ka custody battle but Vedika made me quit.. she was first villainish character after ML that this show introduced to start of typical negativity...
