IMO we should look at the plot being presented to us and disregard our theories with all due respect to the writer irrespective of whether its convincing or not. Because its the writer's brainchild we're being presented.

Taking all possible principles or theories meerasim issues are of their own making(non-negotiable)

We humans live with a cocktail of emotions which one triggers what is always a possibility and never a certainty. So nothing is set in stone.

Meerab's reaction to anger or disgust to murtasim being found with haya can be difficult for me to understand because I might think differently, but What's been shown can be a possibility that I'm unaware of.

Many people question why they run away from each other. I felt it's their way of owning up to their part in the act, which was unanticipated by them both.

Meerab hasn't forgotten how she's been disowned but not remembering how she's been embraced by the same parents, shows us her feelings RN are of dejection, abandonment and a guilt which she's not able to take ownership of. Her memories are all of murtasim pleading and her rejections which are poking her ownself.

Finally as the darkness transitioned into light of the dawn they both will eventually come out of it stronger with a better version of themselves, murtasim obviously gets quicker realization than meerab.

Now coming back to “ maza aayega” wali thingy , I think she must be referring to when Meerab and Murtsaum would meet after the separation with Meesam …. By then Meerab would have realised her feelings for Murtsaum fully … hence an emotional confession and then maza aayega wali baat hogi.

Merub's body language, expressions, the devastation, the anguish is so obviously coded as SA.

None of these xtreme reactions line up with regret or guilt after consensual sex (CS).

At the very least, they should have edited out scenes of MK thod phod and Merub walking on the streets. The way MK and Merub looked in those scenes - mera dil dehal gaya - and it becomes impossible to entertain any other explanation.

If the intent was to set up a MR vs CS suspense, drag this mystery for 2-3 weeks, and finally reveal it was CS after all, then the acting and direction is a total FAIL. The reactions needed to have been much more ambiguous and toned down for this fookin disgusting mystery set up to be viable. Even if you are to show me FB of scenes leading up to CS and why both characters end up looking so devastated post-consummation, I still won't be able to decipher those visuals you gave us as anything but SA.

I still can't fookin believe this is the contract breach we had been anticipating for 40+ episodes. The mazedaar scene NM promised us 🤢

I still can't fookin process why the actors and the makers would lie to us so blatantly and egregiously - MK is the only non-grey character, he logical, he is not toxic, he is the best, Wahaj is just like MK, this is a light drama, etc.

I still can't fookin understand why would you develop a character like MK this way for 45 episodes only to have him rape his wife. i have not seen all tenets of story telling and writing so violently butchered and sh*t on like this show. There is subverting genre expectations and then there is genre ki g***d phadna. NM needs to be banned from writing ever again 😡

I feel i have been punk'd. I thought I was watching romance but it was a fookin crime horror. Where the cute charming guy on campus was Ted Bundy, or the friendly man who entertained young children and dressed up as Pogo the Clown at parties was John Wayne Gacy.

I still can't fathom why actors who would not do thappad scenes will do this - even going so far as to add a slap and spit scene to justify MR (as this was not in the original script). Since the slap and spit were added in filming, clearly, the actors and makers discussed how do we make it look that Merub deserves to be raped. Like what even. Who the eff has this conversation and not once say that this is a fookin terrible idea. And for actors who talk about responsible capitalism and back projects like DNUTN and DSJHS, to not shut this line of discussion is beyond disappointing. I am fookin incensed.

Sorry for the rant but I will just shut up now.

Rape should not be used as a marketing gimmick or as a mystery box element to drive the plot forward in a show that will not address rape as a serious crime but is used as a punch line. By doing so a man or a woman is falsely accused of rape and that is not a joke, and you make mockery of the crime itself with this 'did it happen' or 'did it not happen' attitude as if we are on an easter egg hunt this is not a bloody game show.

Rape is a crime that just cannot be latched on to any man or a woman as a story telling device. Psychology of a rapist is damaged psychosis, you have to be a certain type of individual to commit this crime, it is not about sex it is about power. And by just making any man or a woman a rapist you are saying there is a rapist in every house, as if anybody can commit such a heinous crime that is dangerous.

If a drama is about rape it should be taken seriously, audiences should know before hand, there should be trigger warnings so people can make up their minds on to watch or not. People have a right to decide what content they want to see, we signed up for romance as the show is ending you can't suddenly change the genre to horror, excuse me do I look like a fool to you. In a drama where there is rape there should be serious consequences for the crime, perpetrators punished, victim should be given justice, redemption not possible.

Female actors should not act like rape victims on screen if their characters were not raped, by doing so they trivialize the trauma of real victims whose real pain will not be taken seriously. Don't act like a victim and 4 episodes later go ooopssss sorry nothing happened I was just trying to win some awards WTF.
