He got the slaps removed from like every second or third episode. But they forgot or didn't care to adjust meerabs reaction. That's why Meerabs reactions appear over the top. They didn't adjust her.
Basically a project done badly and overlooked storyline is the end result of such negligence.
As for MR. You are looking at it as a sane and from a human being point of view. See it from Noorans pov. She thinks if he is in love, handsome loving kind and then it's okay.
It doesn't even register to her that what she's written is wrong. Even after the entire continent corrected her.
It's her upbringing. Sorry to make it personal about her but it's her upbringing in a feudal system that she takes MR so casually.
There should be a background check for script writers 😆

No the slaps was some other talk show and host said it . Nobody from TB team said anything.

Siraj said the first slap , him and WA were against but YZ convinced them! He didn’t mention of any more slaps and said after this he has put out condition for all this next projects he will not entertain any slaps at all !

NM said Meerub slapping and spitting was last minute addition !

She definitely raised valid points in show and if she could give Naurez - Mariyam such good closure why not for MeeMu. They have flaws but why this track when u spent 45 episodes rubbing consent on our faces ?

Unless she wants everyone to believe yes man like KMK can also do this and then once he is fallen from grace then she says No see he didn’t do it , he could have if he wanted but didn’t ! What is that called even ? Zig Zag as she calls ?

Oh!! I have no idea about the interviews/magazines that you are taking about.. i haven't followed any of them.. If they really confirmed it , i don't know understand how does MR fits in a supposedly love story. Even if was initially the part of their script, they should have changed the script after the worldwide response and massive success of the show. They had plenty of time..Show got recognition since the beginning , they had 5 months to rectify their mistakes..M sure reshooting last 4-5 episodes wouldn't be that difficult..

Probably they underestimated the audience and thought we would take anything they are going to serve us in the name of entertainment..

The makers didn’t think there was anything wrong in it and they would have justified it with Rohsil thingy …. Their logic would have been any man finding about it would loose his cool , he has been patient long enough etc etc …

This is what is confusing me too. Correct me if I’m wrong because I didn’t completely understand the conversation between Murtasim and Bakhtu but it didn’t seem like he had committed MR from that scene. Meerab looks so traumatized. Episode 48, could be from her just being tired, sad and scared in the middle of the night but she looked like that in episode 47 as well. Another thing that I cannot shake off is the everyone praising Murtasim’s character. Yumna said he was the only character that isn’t grey, like how can you say that about someone committing MR? She didn’t have to mention that at all. It’s not like someone specifically asked her. Wahaj is complaining about slaps and having them removed but is fine with MR? Unless he had no control over it but still why would he praise Murtasim? Everyone did. Am I naive to think that these people should take MR as disgusting act and not elevate the character that will be committing this act? I can’t imagine that they think it’s fine, it happens and then all will be forgiven. Also why does she name the baby Meesam? Is that even true btw or a rumour? What would be whole point of introducing MR unless they want a sad ending. If it is MR, I honestly think Murtasim should die in the end. Bakhtu brought up death and there was the flashback of Murtasim saying he wouldn’t die for Meerab. I don’t think that’s where the story is going though. They know people were offended by the slap but they had so much time to redeem Murtasim since it happened so early. This is happening so late with no time for a redemption arc (I couldn’t watch it if they did that). The show has been so popular from the beginning so they had to have known that they would receive a significant amount of backlash. I still can’t wrap my head around everyone praising Murtasim while knowing he’s going to commit MR like it’s nothing. They can’t all be that insensitive. Also as much as NM is getting on my nerves, some of her storylines are in favour of women (ex. Mariam). This is why I have such a hard time believing that MR had occurred. We need to see what happened behind those closed doors. There probably was some aggression from Murtasim’s side but they’re probably playing it super safe now that they’ll never show us.

Ok I get it its MR and I should feel bad for meerab.YZ acting is really good but I m not feeling a thing for meerab.Why? MR was makers plans but they edited out the hole thing thats why its looks miss place.

O well I would rather take a misplaced scene then MR .
