But honestly, there were so many instances in the 21st century too where Dhruv has proved how much he cares about others. Forget everyone else, how he responded to Tara in his house as a stranger itself goes to show yeh khara hai. Anyways, will wait on the context too to see what happened, but yes it is dissappointing 😔

This is essentially lazy writing- the fault of the writer. He needed a plot device to get Dhruv to the gallows, and needed Tara to show her trust by taking an arrow, and chose to come up with this.

Consistency with characters should never be expected in an ITV daily soap- you'll only be disappointed in the long run.

FWIW, I was surprised that Dhruv didn't double examine the injury spot when the soldier died- it was the most obvious thing to do.

And while Vallabgarh isn't Orwellian, the line pretty much holds true for that era- " All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others"

I mean soldiers are dispensable to them. It isn't that big of a deal. That's how they're raised. I mean wahan Roz ek khana chakhne wala Banda hai, who eats the food to make sure it's not poisoned.
