Makers only wanted justification for PL character-

If you see they made both Sai and Virat be in her shoes and act out similarly. Obsessing over love, breaking boundaries while being married to someone else.

All sides are now seeing it and voicing that she was better- atleast execution wise they have succeeded and shown what they wanted to- PL was not wrong.

Just for audience retention they made her do some extreme things so people stay back thinking she will be exposed or get punished but they ended up ‘removing’ that act and its impact. Same with Virat.

Sai who objected them both in her marriage- doing same thing putting foot in her mouth.

PS: While we as viewrs can see the difference as in Sai is neither as criminal minded and obsessive as PL nor she hated and cursed Virat like he does- but its never voiced so that other two doesn’t look bad.

Pakhi atleast admitted her hate, her plans. Didn't acted she is righteous in the world unlike other two characters.

Sai’s even a minor reaction is amplified and repeated several rimes by many characters to enforce this is her mistake - Say a lie on top of tour lung 100 times and people start believing it. Its that kind of situation.

If she had self respect she would have left post first rejection from Virat. Like Sai always tried to do on number of occasions- but how it was shown? Sai is giving up on her relationship, she is bhagodi, selfish etc etc

Till date Sai is blamed through dialogues. Thing is makers delivered what they promised actors and not how story developed based on popularity and in process if they had to show wrong as right and right as wrong- they did it anyways.

They call it KD remake but even in KD there was a scene in first holi where her MIL blasts RK for closeness w Rono.

Here Mansi always watched from sidelines. They eliminated most scenes of her being bashed by any character. It happened twice once post PD kaand (that episode was huge hit) and second post surrogacy fraud expose.

Before Shruti track, atleast Sai was used to call out her shit in open but they even stopped giving any dialogues to Sai against her, especially post leap. One year of not calling out anything she did- we like/accept it or not - people do start to believe conditioned narrative.
