@bold, other than Katha giving advise, and Viaan saying you always help me, nothing else happens between the two. Why was she telling him not to lie to an 8 year old? The writers can’t seem to think of any other way to show Viaan and Katha together. Does this in any way look or feel like chemistry? Even Viaan has stopped sensing Katha around of late, just goes to show how boring this is.

And why is Katha the only one staying back at work so late? Why doesn’t she want to take papa G’s car? What does she have to prove to anyone?

kushi -- yea, I am not sure why we are not getting any dhak dhak moments at all. is it because we are used to seeing the tropes play out in a certain way? are the poems supposed to stand in and induce dhak dhak. do the makers think mature love story means no dhak dhak? I don't know.....

but yea, I have been wondering the same on why katha is always working late. wasn't she the one who negotiated for a better work life balance? and yet, she is always late and it is dodo who is taking care of the house. free cook, free housekeeper and free babysitter!!!

and no idea, why she doesn't want to take papaG's car -- guess we are meant to see her as independent but is taking stuff from family a bad thing? 🤷

@red bold - i mean only she knows her son’s friend is Viaan. So as a colleague if such questions come, I would ask them to stay in the limit. I actually liked Viaan’s response to that. Don’t recall if he acted surprised. She can be all upset she wants that an adult man who is the bff of her son ditched her child’s request or company but what he does in his personal life is none of Katha’s problem.

Why is she not advocating her child to stay away from some unknown person who claims to be her friend? May be not now because she knows Viaan is the Robin her son has been referring to but earlier when she did not know this she should have strongly advised her son to stay away from any adult who becomes very friendly.

As far as Katha rejecting the car, she feels she’ll miss the free rides with Viaan at times to dish out more lecture or act very friendly during the car ride only to become enemies by the time they reach their destination 😂
