Peacock feather aka twin flame

Today's episode was blast. AR was on fire..she looked parallel lead she was supposed to be today. Ekarhiz summed it up so well.. 👍🏻 the way she blasted the son- mother duo was treat to watch.

AbhiM' redemption and peacock feather

As I saw today, AbhiM did not even understand what AR was saying.. Realization is way far away.. I am going forget about redemption. On some days I feel that he is on realization track but as I saw him today and precap, I see him getting greyer. As he realizes more and more that Abhir is getting out of his hands, nastier may he become.

Many episodes back, there was scene with AK and AbhiM on bike in udaipur. She and AbhiM couldn't meet each other because a truck with AbhiN's name comes between them. However, they both get a peacock feather which AK hands over to Abhir. Peacock feather is a sign of twin flame. Twin flame comes into your life to teach you a lesson and grow better. In AK and AbhiM's relationship, AK was supposed learn a self- preserving nature ( not taking everything lying down) and fighting for your rights whereas AbhiM was supposed to learn overcoming his impulsive, obsessive nature. AK partly learnt her lessons and gave it back in the temple to AbhiM. After which her journet awat from AbhiM started.However, AbhiM has not learnt anything from his twin flame relationship with AK. Now, the torch has got transferred to Abhir via feather.

Twin flame challenges you whereas soulmate heals and strengthens you. Makers may reunite AK and AbhiM for Abhira's sake but from character POV, no story is left for me between them. AK may not have moved on with AbhiN yet completely( their journey is a bit hotch potch as a couple till now), but I do not see her stuck in past as well. I see her meeting AbhiM as mother of Abhir.

AbhiN is AK and Abhir's soulmate. More so of Abhir. Hence, all three have healed themselves in each other's company and get strength from each other. Even though, it will be Abhir and AbhiM who will have roller coaster journey, the real fight is between good/calm/selfless virtues from AbhiN and AK to Abhir and viles in AbhiM.

I do not expect much creativity but, if AbhiM does not go redemption path, I see his end with both peacock feather flying back at the feet of Radhkrishna.

I loved how you used the concept of soulmates & twin flames in respect to this show. Most of the times everything is analysed just in relation to the lead jodis or parallel jodis, when actually here there are so many complicated bonds that suit these analogies better.

PS going off-topic & Ik this is against the popular opinion but I'm finding the after-leap narrative interesting. Yeah it's inconsistent on days and pacing is either slow or rushed but it's still loaded with so many possibilities that it keeps us guessing, which is rare for an ITV show.

The whole abhira love story runs with twin flames concept from day 1. Most people always claim how he fell in love with her in 2 minutes but twin flames are just so they just go that way. That is why shiv parvati references have been kept since day 1 in story as they are prime examples of twin flames two bodies one soul.

Whereas aarohi had been introduced as akshu's soul mate. Even though makers failed to explain that part better it had been said in words both sisters complete each other, they can't live without each other. Which was totally messed up by abhi. To show sisters are still soulmates they show those epic moments where both get sick at a time. Eg. Ar getting current shock and ak getting high fever at same time and both getting well at same time. This happened before in manju accident time where ak got panic attack and ar fainted.

Abhinav has been introduced as akshu's humsafar as said to doctor after bus scene (companion) in her life journey. The one who is with her in her tough times.

P. S : I am sorry for jumping in and giving a contradictory opinion but I said this as how relationships are said in this serial.

I cannot understand the depth of relationships in this show.

So the new writers added another character to Akshara's journey.

Abhira are in love with the idea of being in love.

Very nice! Thank you for explaining. I always love diff. POVs. I did not much like the shiv- paravati reference.. as first they used it for AK and AbhiM and then during Ghangaur for AK and AbhiN..🙄 and I can relate the immature impulsive behavior of AK and AbhiM in their early episodes with twin flame concept more than Shiv-parvati...

Reg Twin flame: As AK handed over the peacock feather to Abhir, it might be that even though she is his twin flame, now she will play the twin flame dynamics via Abhir. Also, the twin flame journey is a roller coaster journey and it ends when you learn you lesson.

I did not know the info you gave.. So my POV is based on what Vibe I get from the characters... I get soulmate vibe from AbhiN, AK and Abhir... They don't look like just companions from vibes... Even though AK and AbhiN are more of friends, they do have deep connection.. Same for AbhiN and Abhir...Even in precap ( even previously ) we see her missing AbhiN when he is not around...I will say they 3 are companion soulmates..

Me too...For me it is so difficult to see a narcicistic, obsessive person being associated with Shiva..Yes, AbhiM could be a twin flame who needs to learn his lessons..rather it said that once you learn your lesson from twin- flame, you should find a soulmate as soulmate relationships bring stability in life but not twin- flames.. AbhiN has brought a lot stability in AK's life.

Relating a ckter to deities restricts the freedom you take with that character and its behavioral graph over time...

Gangur time shiv paravti references was given for abhira only.

Manju in birlas said parvati coming home and ak is the one away. And when ak nav spoke that day nav accepted himself as a langoor and ak said she didn't do any penance but got nav as her husband. While parvati ji did great penance to get shiv ji. So shiv parvati won't suit ak nav.

Regarding feathers. They had always represented truth for abhira always. It's for abhir truth that came in installments for us.

Yes, they have messed it up.. I shared a general sense that I get from ckters..

Bold- Yes. Matches them perfectly. This can be another perspective through which you can see the characters. As against popular opinion, I never felt that they were in love.. They were in love with the idea of that person.. Hence, as the real person started shattering the idea of that person.. The relationship fell apart..

Reg Shiv- parvati.. Once AbhiM said, Shiva and Paravti prioratized each other over the world.. But AK never did that.. She is similar to AbhiN.. She is Parivaar / family person... Not only one relationship matters person..like AbhiM.. The struggle point that always remained in their relationship.

I did not read all comments but i remember when akshu was pregnant 2 peacock feather flied towards ak and abhi. Ak got 1 and abhi got 1. To indicate god has gifted them with twin kids.

So that indicates abhir was indeed a miracle in their life.

This is the symbolism of peacock feather.

Quite Possible.. Because their miracle child ( at least till now) has much deeper connection with AbhiN than AK and AbhiM. Abhir is more connected with AbhiM, because he saved his Papa...

If their was redemption track after Kasauli ( with No AbhiN) with Abhira reunion due to Abhir.. What you described would have made perfect sense..
