Thank you, once again for lecturing us Indians on how we should behave. Is it just Indians you like to lecture, write essays on and take a special interest in or any other cultures too?

Keeping all the political ideology aside. The Movie was extremely boring and poorly written. Got headache after an hour. Looked like Sansani or crime patrol with big budget.

That is a fair review.

The fact is that these are small time producers and it shows. The important point is that they made a movie on something that needed to be told

Hats off to them.

Next time Modi/BJP/RSS/Hindutva terrorists make propaganda movies they should at least make sure that they finance it well😆

They did finance it as well as possible (Modi lacks money...Adani, you know...) well... it was quickly made to be ready for Modi's election rally and was meant for *dumb* women/girls anyways (irony!).

None of the members following the hate-path follow hinduism... (@aaditi123)

Now coming to your mom's friend. 99.9% Christians will not convert for the sake of a marriage. Men or women. They will usually have the other party convert. If the non Christian spouse does not convert then sometimes it is alright but the children will be brought up as Christians and baptised in the Church.

My own sister married a Catholic, did not convert but was made to sign a paper by the Church that she will bring her child up as a Catholic and have it baptised.
I have a friend who married a Hindu man who did not convert at the time of marriage but her children were brought up in the Catholic church and baptised. They have absolutely nothing to do with Hinduism.

That is just the way it is.

Your mom knows this and is a lot more worldly wise than you give her credit for. She is just having a little fun because she knows her friend will not give her the real answer.

It's not really about religion. I know someone who was a Christian and married a Hindu woman. The children are totally Hindus. Tho they follow both the religions. It's usually about the mother. What stance she takes.

But then I know a a Muslim man married a Christian aurat and she converter to Islam but they are neutral. The kids also follow both the religion.

Look, Hinduism in essence is the most beautiful religion in the world & by far the most liberal one. There's NO rules in Hinduism other than 1, don't hurt other Jeevs(living beings). You're literally allowed to create your own Diety to worship, you want to worship a stone....go for it. There's people that do "shingars" of Dietys, there's even Hanuman in Sari. Do whatever you want bro, whatever helps you recieve positive energy from the Universe. In the Rig Vedas, sex isn't taboo either. As long as it's consensual & not with a married woman. All the Vedas God's from Indra to Varuna to Suryadev go around having sex with random women. Hell Mahabharat is based to Suryadev & Kunti. The old paintings, idols are all highly sexualized or books like the Kamasutra. It wasn't until Buddhism's conservative beliefs swept the nation & Hinduism had to come up with its own "Bhakti Marg" to keep up that all these backward beliefs & superstitions crept into the religion.

What these conservatives are fighting for isn't "Hinduism". I bet none of them have ever read the Gita. Because they would then understand the concept of "live & let live". They're fighting for that Half kachhe wearing, hate mongering, cowardly RSS ideology.

They're nothing but Hidutva terrorists & must be ignored just like Jihadists, Khalistanis & other religious Extremists.

@ bold :I had said this in some other thread sometime back and all hell broke loose....😆

Oh, dearest sev.puri, the conclusion wasn't mine but Bavika Kapoor's one (https://twitter.com/BhavikaKapoor5)

Personally, I would only lecture students...regardless the culture they come from 😊 (but only in German, English or French...the only languages I speak fluently)
