From the tone of the intro/promo I'm feeling this show's gonna be misogynistic af. And they're gonna overdo the family troubles, especially for the girls (for no particular reason)

Haan. But the dialogues.. not denying that it doesn't happen, in fact it is very much prevalent in most corporates to not have women in higher positions simply cuz men have problems taking order from a woman. I just hope they do it realistically.

The way I see it, it will focus on how the family never assumed they will have to share the property or assets with Bhoomi and her daughters, who might return out of nowhere when it is the day that the guy is going to be named the heir. And then the chaos will ensue with Yuvika making it clear that especially post 2014, a girl also has equal rights to her parent's assets. Yes, it is not an easy path to the top of the corporate ladder, especially if you do not have family support. Either ways most shows nowadays are official/unofficial adaptations.

Also, Mahabharat in itself an interesting topic to debate, since if you really sit down and analyse, you realise they did have some valid motivations on their end which manifested either in positive/negative ways, it was all a collection of mistakes made that transformed into this war. I liked the theme and I intend to watch the first week. Depending on the melodrama/ exaggeration, might decide to continue or quit.

Yeah and this show no longer looks interesting after all the character promos came out. It'll be turned into a typical desi saas-bahu, kitchen politics show after some time.
