If you watch Hira Soomro's interview, she says actors do not know final episode count as that is decided on the editing table. So Asim saying 15 episodes is not reliable data point.

But anyways, let's do the math:

• The bound script had 28 episodes
• Asim's character was to appear in E24 in the bound script.
• This means his appearance is in the last 14% of the show

By this math, if Asim appears in E46 that will mean 53-54 episodes total.

In SH, Siraj told Hassan because of the 4 episodes per week thing, their editing and total episode count has shifted. So going a bit over to 53-54 episodes makes sense.

TB has 20 episodes more than most Pak shows......baaki sab mein 25-30 episodes mein Shaadi, separation and reunion sab ho jata hai. So, going by Pak standards, it is not difficult to show the remaining track in 6 episodes. 6 episode are a lot in Pak show.
