That’s the thing with wahaj…he himself admits that he is not good at picking scripts..he says Yumna is better at choosing scripts…he said he is good at making sure he does good work on the script that he has.that’s why even thought MPHT is such a drag…people are still rooting for wahaj because of how good he played the character

In one of his interviews he mentioned that he looks at the team before selecting a project. Team, in terms of directors (and maybe writers but mostly directors is what he I meant). And after years now he knows which directors to trust ....who will help him in his craft and the one's to stay away from.

I am assuming he said yes for MPHT because of the same reason. Trust factor.
