So fandom is divided on many points and one of them is that there is over glorification of Abhinav.

I just realised one thing that yes Abhinav as a character deserve this glorification coz soft man is the need of the hour in a ITV full of toxic male lead.

But the others are correct too coz if they wanted to glorify these kind of man why not make the ML like that or Neil was soft could have changed the actor but anyway it's a show and actors are doing their job that means Harshad and Pranali following the instructions but those two are the ones who are getting bashed online and those are the ones whose jodi has been promoted and bagged many awards too

So it's kind of wrong with the actors.

Why not make AbhiM realise his mistakes even before he met Akshara in Kasauli, would have made him a good guy with character growth people would have connected with him too then anyway when people can justify him at the moment then why not when he is nice.

This is something i am not able to understand.

Getting a good third angle happens in most of the shows but the butchering of the main leads this much never seen.

There is a show Parineeti uske lead ne do shaadi krli saari fasad ki jad woh banda hai yet AbhiM k samne i find him less toxic and theek thak.

I feel Abhimanyus character was not butchered on white day. He was always shown angry young man who is about me myself and had grey shades. Even now he sometimes realizes his mistakes but then do again. Infact his character is very close to reality as many guys are like that.

But then there are good guys also who can handle their relationships more maturely. In this generation this story is about mature guy and immature guy and I liked that change. So don't know where the glorification is coming from. That word is overused. From the very beginning Harshad knew his character had different shades. And maybe he accepted also for same reason. And all get screenspace according to their tracks.

Yeah if your watching the serial only for leads. You will never connect with Abhinavs character and find reasons to justify his character. And now a days in every ITV serial this is happening. Few People just wants to see lead. But thankfully it's only limited to only online audience.

I feel the same, Abhimanyu wasn’t ruined just on white day, he is a character of extremes and different shades.

As audience we might get irritated but for an experienced actor like Harshad. He would like to play a complex character like abhiM, for an actor it’s challenging and fun.

playing a white character is too linear for experienced actors

As audience we see it through a diff lens.

There is no over glorification of Abhinav. His character is consistent. Being kind and understanding in a relationship is a good thing to watch onscreen , plus Abhinav and abhiM have different backgrounds and life experiences which has shaped them the way they are,

He has anger issues true. But he wasn't that bad jitna ab krte jaa rhe hain.

I really like Abhinav as a character. He should be cherished. He is more mature than all of them combined and have the sanskaars that these so called big family k bachon mein nahi hai hai.

What i mean is k at the end of the day lead is lead and whatever example we are presenting uske through hona chahiye. Jab eventually story lead k hai toh

I used the word glorification as it's being used by the people.

Otherwise I feel he deserves the praise infact I absolutely love whenever Akshara take stand for him coz he deserve it. He earned this.

My point is when we know for who people are watching and whose story is this. So in that context coz while the character Abhinav is well written, They are not giving good growth to Akshara as well.

Her calling manjari ma is stupid, why is she chup most of the time. And the custody battle actually should be mother vs father.

Things should have been better.

Muje bhi lagta hai pakka kuch toh solid tashan chal raha hai internally. Clearly dikh raha hai ki koi issue hai Harshad ke sath otherwise iss level ka kabada nahi karega koi one of the lead ke sath.

Glorification of AA: Naav 🐷 backed ak during storm 🌙 providing ❤️ warmth to a neonate(mom's only does that) they replaced every possible nice things of a mom and biological dad to one stranger and made him the best papa, it's ridiculous IMO.

I couldn't even let my DH hold my daughter first despite myself having severe blood loss then, because I had her after a miscarriage and I know the longing to hold my child after going through such a trauma. We never got to see AK embracing her child that way to overvome her trauma. It's always ak not getting tired of praising AA. Marriage should be between equals. Ak is always indebted to AA for all his favors, then what kind of a marriage is theirs.

Abhi isn't toxic, he's self centered and human ie with his own imperfections. Ak is not perfect either, but AA is glorified with no flaws at all. What kind of a utopic world are the makers hinting at.

Realistically speaking, relationships survive because of desire to exist and survive in them.

My mom once told me, arguments happening between a couple is a good thing because there's a struggle for something, and with resolve, that can be changed into something good. Real trouble is only when there's nothing, and Akshnav looks that couple for me they have nothing going between them except wah-wahs.

IMO, people in relationships aren't variables they are the constants, and the way Ak left her husband just because he deserted her makes them both not deserving love and harmony together.

Remember, eye for an eye leaves the entire world totally blind.

Only sensible and strong people can endure pain and survive the pressures of relationships.

Probably reason why our grandparents had excellent marriages because they never thought themselves greater than their relationships and never hesitated to sacrifice or give up on something dear to them for the relarionship and all this used to happen without deliberations or discussions.
