RCB : They have everything, Superstar players, well settled team. A consistent management, good youngsters. But they never look serious. Always looking for flashy and showoff things. Even this Aggression is fake and showoff.

Now Compare this to the winners.

RR : Only Cricket with unknown players in 2008.

Deccan chargers : Beat RCB ( Too easy to beat a non serious team)

CSK/MI : Serious about Cricket. (Have proper academies / junior program / developmental tournaments). Cricket only matters, Not Age/ Fitness /Yo Yo tests /Aggression.

KKR : No one more serious about Cricket than GG.

SRH: Beat a Joke of a Team where 1 player scored 99 percent runs.

GT : Focused on Cricket with a coach that is proper no nonsense. Doesn't even use a smartphone If I remember correctly. Gathered match winners for crunch situations and not Superstars who RCB (choke) it when the team needs them the most. most players in GT has been a match winner at thier own level. I can actually write an essay on how GT is a perfect T20 team. Unless MSD decides to do his magic again one last time, His best student will easily defend the title.

Classic Example of fake aggression of Virat : The Brand of Aggression and Agressive cricket Virat Kohli, the Chase Master, the Superstar, the Greatest batsman ever scores 50 in 33.

One of Meekest and most silent good boy of Indian Cricket Ajinkya Rahane scores a 50 in 19 Balls.

Who is more agressive here?

I find RR a complete no showoff team.. their balance is amazing.. yes, heavily reply on Butter heroics but other batters also contribute..

And nobody said that was Virats best ipl inning.. he just played acc the situation.. faf got out early, no reliable batter in the middle order.. Maxwell tou lottery hai..chala tou chala warna nhi.. Virat had to bat till the 15th over at least..

And Rehane inning was fluke.. wo baar baar thodi na khelega aise. 😆

Rahane scored 87 of 50 odd in 2015 in the same ground vs a bowling lineup of Rabada, Steyn.

Rahane is the ONLY Indian to hit 6 fours in an over in IPL.

Actually

I tell you

CSK and MI have suffered due to the mega auction.

Both teams have built up players, making them big and now an important part of Team India.

This mega auction forced them to release the players and couldn't take them back bcoz now their worth is way too much.

So now

Their core group is gone, which has been consistent and has made them the winning franchise.

Most of the other teams barely had a core team except RR, so they come in IPL every yr like a new team.

But for these 2 it is different, especially for MI, as for them, it is a complete restart with Captain not performing and the most important players in different teams or just missing the tournament.
