I think it makes sense, Meerub was getting bashed without any reasons and this theory is justifying her reasons but what they didn’t know that instead of damage control it would backfire on them.

The host just said that he spoke with Bushra Ansari and Wahaj about Merub's character and why it is acting the way it does.
Fyi: the host knows Wahaj for sure (he was in Wahaj wedding pics from way back)
The host said he was told by Bushra & Wahaj that the script had multiple slaps for Merub. That is why Merub had these mood fluctuations.
But Wahaj refused to do any slaps.
So they took out slaps but did not tone down Merub's reaction in subsequent scenes which is why she seems to be so angry in one scene when before she was fine.
This seems to be their explanation for why Merub seems so inconsistent and still resistant.
