ViDev ka scene pura ek saath dikhana main masla kya hota hai i don’t understand 🤬

For me the ViDev parts were very nice (even though some got chopped)

1. That uneasiness on Dev’s face with Vidhi on the floor cleaning was so well potrayed when there were no dialogues at all. Well done IQ

2. Kaushik deserves a hug for being a true friend and that eye contact between Dev and Kaushik was superb

3. The entire discussion of ViDev for not being able to tolerate each other’s humiliation was so heartfelt. Despite it being a drama, they couldn’t handle it and it was very real

Highlight of the episode was Dev saying “i want to care for you” Both ViDev are made for each other. They go about doing things for one another with such comfort and ease just like when Vidhi was all commando mode to make him Vajrasan move for relief. Ek flow main scene hota toh kya baat thi

The discussion during cleanup the mandir was nicely put.

@sns23 - I seriously hope that mba karliya tumne dialogue by Dev was spoken out of error. Vidhi barely attended one class and one project aur phir do saal ka mba 2 mahine main kaise hoga!! 🤪🤪

Amba is the sole reason ViDev are married 😛. Without her plotting, they'd never have got married (at least not marriage in the way they wanted with full parental approval)

I've probably said it several times before, but am saying it again- ITV is incapable of portraying grey characters. Grey has to turn black or become white- no inbetween.

The Amba that told Vidhi there was no issue with her having a crush, the vulnerable Amba who was in front of Vidhi at the Jagrata, the Amba who apologised to HP for the dress fiasco and the Amba who got angry at HP when he slapped Dev were decent examples of a grey character.

What Amba probably needed to do was to highlight the age gap part- say to sing a song that Dev likes, but Vidhi has no idea about it because it is way before her time.

Get some of Dev's old college friends for a reunion and make Vidhi feel like an outsider because she can't understand their inner jokes from that time. Highlight the age of Dev's friends' wives and kids in front of V.

Get some folks to do what was shown in the original promos- for example the boat ride wala where the aunty ridiculed Vidhi.

Sometimes I am just appalled by the lack of originality and imagination of ITV in general - especially with respect to women. They seem to be attempting to redeem Priya’s character - but it’s just hard to see her swing from one extreme to the other. They could have just kept her in the middle.

Amba was never shown to be good at subtlety. They could have shown her to try those subtle games, and maybe given her character some more flesh by making her care for something/someone other than her own self/dev. Make her human.

🤣🤣 I saw the beginning of a bts of the raichands waking vidhi up and congratulating her for something. I am scared to ask what it was for.

I wouldn’t mind them fast forwarding through the MBA if they actually fast forwarded through the next 2 years - instead of it being a hodge podge job. They don’t have to completely skip it - but they have a small thing that shows the passage of time.

If there is no actual purpose for the MBA track, then it doesn’t make sense for them to spend money and try and show it.

I recently watched a drama named Kashish... Which is probably 80s make.. It was unbelievably cool and organic.. Not even a dum tana nana..

When exactly did this trp crowd come into existence?? Along with EK?

🙈🙈 nowadays I’m not able to shake off hamla feels whenever I see ViDev. And that is bothering me a lot.

The young romance seems to have disappeared and they’re constantly worried about something or the other like hamla.

thankfully that congratulations is only related to some dance event the balghar kids managed to participate in and vidhi helped the kids train for it

I actually thought they would highlight importance of education for everyone through this track since Dev was always so encouraging about it

Haan passage of time bhi dikha sakte hain so that vidhi ages as well since she is stuck at 21 and Dev's birthdays are passing by lol

abhi talks to Simmi and asks her to take care of herself. She says she misses him a lot.

Hamla super happy about their 100 packet order. Bims wants to call vidhi, but vidhi and dev come there themselves. They tell them about their order, and both vidhi and dev are very happy. Dev asks them to do some publicity - HP is like jeb khali. Dev is like you don’t need money, you just need a phone - go with social media. Dev takes Bims phone and shows her how to put up photos and use the right hashtags so that it gets visibility. Bims and HP are very happy and say, whenever Dev and Vidhi come, they feel so much lighter and happier.

PS - I like this Hamla house set so much better than the old one. It is so much brighter, has a very positive vibe.

Abhi manages the situation saying nobody told them to pay it, but they’ll pay it and they’ll be able to go back to school. Kids buy it and are a little relieved. Dev and everyone are wondering where to get the money from - abhi is like I’ll go beg Amba if I have to. Vidhi says no whatever we do, we’ll do it with full self respect and our heads held high. Dev says he’ll talk to Kaushik about getting some money for this month, and vidhi says they can try corporate social responsibility for next month - abhi and she will handle it. Satya is like I wish you were my daughter at times vidhi, and dev is like hold on - don’t put me at loss for your benefit. It was a sweet moment.

Priya and Simmi come there and Simmi is happy to meet everyone. She goes off to play with the kids. Priya apologizes to everyone says she doesn’t know she was being played - and asks everyone to believe her. Dev cannot forget how he signed over the house and how Amba kicked them out. Despite vidhi asking him to hear her out, dev says he can’t trust her and leaves. Priya pleads with everyone for another chance and says that she is with them. She tells abhi that she misses him, SImmi misses him, but abhi is still very bitter about everything priya said and walks away. Satya chases him.

At Amba’s office, she is perplexed as to what deal Yogesh signed that needed him to take 50L. She asks the accountant to find out. In the meantime at kaushik’s office - Dev asks him to send 25 of the 50L to yogeshs office and invest the remaining 25. Kaushik does that.

Ambas accountant comes back and tells her that the 25L were invested in GKB, and Amba starts getting mad. She remembers how Yogesh said he was going to sign some deal.

She tries to reach him, but Yogesh doesn’t pick up. Yogesh finally calls, but before she can pick up - Durga Devi comes. Amba can’t pick up. Durga tells Amba she came here because Amba keeps telling her that she inconviences her. Durga rattles Amba a little bit and then asks her why when it comes to her, all roads lead to the raichands. She brings up the fact that Amba used to pay Rakesh, who was the guy the youngest raichand bahu was having an affair with. Amba tries to feign innocence, but Durga gives her a copy of the bank statements. Durga asks her how did Rakesh die?

Amba is stunned

precap - Yogesh is frozen out of the company accounts and is no longer a signatory. He wants to know why, Amba asks him if he is playing the same game with her as he did with dev and brings up the bag of money with 25L.

It was an ok episode, but end mein the drama/shots with Amba and Durga Devi gave me flashbacks to the soaps from 2000s where each expression is taken from different angles. Makers - can we not do this please.

Kahan vidhi ka birthday October mei aa rha tha aur kaha aaya hi nhi... Yhi problem hai iss show ki they pick up something then leave it without wrapping it up properly.

Okay so I m seriously missing the initial days jhalli vidhi swooning over dev while dev remained oblivious to it.kya din the, although I used to get second hand embarrassment due to vidhi's actions but still it was fun.Dev used to scold her and school her, now all he does is praise her.
