Only three runs off that last over, how crucial could that prove to be? This innings started with Marco Jansen getting Gurbaz out of his first ball, and then Venky Iyer fell same over. Jason Roy threatened with a few boundaries, but it was one too many when he took on a returning Kartik Tyagi. KKR rebuilt their innings through Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh. The KKR skipper was looking good for a fifty, but skied his slog against Makram and the SRH skipper took a stunning high catch off his own bowling. The innings was then set up for Andre Russell to do what Andre Russell does best, and he did start off with two maximums, but then Markande offered the bait with a tossed up delivery and Russell took it. Rinku stayed on till the last over, before holing out to deep mid-wicket where Samad took a well judged catch. KKR also introduced their impact sub in the first innings itself, with Anukul Roy being preferred over Suyash Sharma. Will that be a tactical faux pas? Time will tell...

Marco Jansen - Very happy except for that no-ball, but otherwise very happy with my performance. We saw that there was quite a lot of bounce (on the pitch), so the plan was to hit the deck hard and get some lift from the surface. I want to have a wicket-taking mindset, so just go and try to execute the plan as much as possible. Ryan Cook, our fielding coach, always helps us with catching practice, you don't see a lot of work done behind the scenes. It's gettable (on the target), will not be easy against some world-class bowlers, but a few partnerships will help us in the chase
