I haven’t watched his movies..so maybe yeah no clue there..I am only talking about the performances in front of us..I mean we can all say that Sherry might pull off a toxic guy..but that’s just a hypothetical scenario..whatever I have seen off him…he is ok..very good looking..amazing model..actor not so much..i haven’t seen a lot of Danish’s work either..but whatever I did watch ..he is very good..there are many male models who come in the industry..not many make it big..it’s the same as Bollywood right..like where Muzzamil Ibrahim, Arjun Rampal and the likes today..they had the looks to die for but it’s the acting skill that sustains you in the long run. I do however think that Sherry is trying very hard to hone his skills and I loved his directorial short with Mahira ..Prince Charmibg I think..he makes for a very interesting director honestly.I think shehryar has more successful movies under his name than danish and his last drama before the one with Maya was ages ago. The one with sajal. He again started doing dramas recently only. So he don't have as many body of work as danish in the drama industry. I haven't seen any of danish's earlier work so don't know how he was but shehryar was bad in his early days. 😆Compared to that he improved tremendously. He brings out the subtle creepiness of asfar's character pretty well.
I think CT has a lot to do with it being a ramdan drama, ayeza-danish pairing and Saima Akram- dir danish's 3 consecutive ramdan drama than just danish. Sure his character and his acting was better but the only pulling fact was not him.
I think if shehryar does characters like ktk, deewangi he will also get that type of hype. More than the actors it seems the majority of the audience have some kind of obsession with toxic men😆. Just put a very stylish, good looking ml with anger management issues and dominating character in a decent budget drama and there will be buzz around it. Majority don't care if he is a borderline psycho and will droll over him 🤣.
