I am unable to fathom that too.. i mean kids are very scared at the sight of any sight of aggressiveness..Atleast for a while they like to stay away from people who have displayed it even to others..

I also loved that majority of people in the house are welcoming towards this young girl compared to her real family who welcomed her with a frown on their face.
