As she finds happiness and pride in being Murtasim’s wife this house ceases to be a jail for her and with that she wishes she was raised by Anwar, it might not have been free but at least it would be real. But if she grew up with Anwar, she wouldn’t be who she is today. She and Murtasim would have gotten married under different circumstances, and he would not love her like he does now because all that makes Meerab special to him would be dead. Everything in her life happened for a reason, but her refusal to accept this fact is her Achilles heel.

Anwar has the right idea a cup of chai with a loved one goes a long way in mending fences. Meerab wants to hold on to the pain of betrayal and stew in them, when there is no justice we want revenge, when we can't even get revenge, we chose pain. Meerab addresses the injustice being her goals and dreams being snatched away because of her untimely marriage, not that her marriage itself was a mistake.

Murtasim is batman he just doesn’t fight crime. His bat signal is his wife’s mood anytime the signal goes up that she is down he swings in cape on to cheer her up. He asks his wife where his missing file is, seriously dude, he is using this lame trick to get her to talk.

Meerab sitting on his side of the bed swinging her feet like a little girl. Murtasim has a gift for her, entrance papers to law school. When she sees the papers her face lights up and seeing her happy makes him happy. He will make her dreams come true, but Maryam’s issue isn’t her dream it is her zidd. Meerab perceives this as a bribe, ‘here take this and leave my sister alone’, she puts away the papers as if she was denied her favorite candy.

There are many reasons why he agreed so fast. The most obvious reason is he wants to make her happy. He wants to do for her what he can’t do for himself. Murtasim never gaslights Meerab, he knows her trauma is real, and he wants to help her heal. It is easy to go guns blazing to rescue a girl from bad guys, when the threat is physical the enemy is obvious. But it is not that easy when the enemy is emotional trauma, do you even know what you are fighting and how to defeat it. Restoring her dreams is part of the healing process, a vital piece of the scattered Meerab puzzle that he is painstakingly piecing back together.

She will fight where she perceives there is injustice, he can’t stop her, and he doesn’t want to change that about her either. A knowledgeable Meerab is hopefully wiser and is better prepared to face life. Murtasim will always stress out about her safety it is in his DNA, however an informed Meerab is in his best interest he will age slower. Maryam gained theoretical knowledge from her education, but with no practical experience she has no wisdom. Studying and practicing law will give Meerab life experience, enlighten her, and make her shrewd enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with her husband and become his shield. Alas whether you are an astronaut or president of the US shit happens that is life.

Meerab and Murtasim pool coffee date. My belief he took a sip of that coffee, but she didn’t drink it WTF. Meerab can talk/scold/fight/complain all day and he can listen to her till infinity as her voice is his beautiful habit. First step to fixing any problem is knowing that you have a problem, Meerab is aware that she is hurtful in her speech towards Murtasim, so hopefully she is on the way to rectifying this behaviour. He has decades of experience in decoding her, so whether she is angry, fake, real, loving, or whatever act she puts on, he sees past the façade and sees the real her.

The king is conceding to his wife, but only the queen can make him listen. Murtasim asking the obvious question who is Anus? Meerab knows nothing about him and has no real opinion on Anus I doubt she likes him, but thinks if Maryam believes in him, and we should believe in Maryam. When you plead ignorance, you forfeit the right to be a leader and take decisions especially for others, fundamental difference between Murtasim and Meerab. Meerab can afford to be ignorant, but Murtasim can’t as head of the family. If she makes a mistake, he is her safety net, and if he makes a mistake, she should have his back but sadly she is not wise enough yet to take on that role full time.

Meerab’s hero is KMK he can make the impossible and possible. They both motivate each other to become best versions of themselves. She inspires him to pursue the harder path, to break norms for the greater good, she shapes his worldview and when she lauds him, he feels invincible. Meerab states she will start her law studies after Maryam’s wedding, his gift accepted he nods proudly. However, there will be no law school after Maryam’s wedding, this time her dreams won’t be stolen from her she will destroy them herself.

MeMu in the last minute of their pool coffee date talking in blinks. I don’t know what they are saying but it felt like every time Murtasim blinked he is saying I love you. Meerab always the first to break their moment as she looks away. His intense stare burns through her soul, before she was afraid of being exposed by him but now, she gets shy. Murtasim always stares fixedly at her he knows exactly what he is looking at, but Meerab’s eyes used to dart back and forth as if she is figuring him out, but no more as she sees him more clearly than ever.

Murtasim fears coming true, MB blaming Meerab. He shields his wife and questions the sister. Murtasim playing devil’s advocate with his ‘forced marriage’ to defend his sister’s choice and reiterates his biggest fear of Meerab leaving him. She can only physically leave him if he allows it and she will never not be this wife even if hell freezes over, he is talking about her leaving him in terms of emotional rejection. Late Shahnawaz khan seems to have been a doting father. Anwar is trying to live up to his older brother’s example and learn from his past mistakes with Meerab, children’s wishes should be considered and finally MB concedes to a meeting with Anus.

If Meerab and Murtasim hands are this couple’s autobiography, then mirror is their signature. When they stand in the front of mirror, they are really eyeing each other. Visage comes from old French and Latin, meaning face. Meerab admiring her husband’s visage as she holds the magazine tiled visage upside down, while her husband indulges in Visagism. Visagism is art that seeks to create personal image based on an individual’s temperament. Murtasim shapes his image as he strokes his moustache that is vital to his personality. The husband sculpting the art that is Murtasim Khan whom his wife loves while he flirts with her through the mirror as she enjoys a live show.

Meerab is arranging this meeting with anus and Anwar states this is her responsibility. Murtasim feeling a sense of doom. Meerab repeating the boy is Maryam’s choice so he must be good, Murtasim closes his eyes he is thinking kill me now, but he nods bravely. MB is readying those pistols to fire at Meerab for Maryam’s choice/mistake, any guesses on when she is going to fire that lethal shot.

Gunnnnnnnn!!!!!!!! Can I look at the world through your eyes as well ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The way you read the nuances and gestures of the Me and Mu and makes this TB way more special for me!!!!! Your analysis is like a antidote to the poison that writer wants us to drink…I refuse to and I will reread your take everytime… You’ve done it again my friend… magical words…beautiful analysis and you’ve saved our leads with your touch 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

REVEALING OF MURTASIM’S CHAHATH- PHOTOGRAPHY

Murtasim’s passion is wildlife photography. When we are introduced to his character, he is a sombre angry young man, an aggressive personality and is an avid hunter. He takes sadistic pleasure in hunting the very thing he loves as he is metaphorically killing a part of himself as he struggles to keep the other part of him alive. The part that lives is gaddi janasheen Khan Murtasim Khan who has to live up to his father’s legacy and has heavy burdens on his shoulders. He like Meerab can’t get over the past, both haven’t fully accepted destiny’s call and are lashing out in different ways. Taxidermy display in the gun room is a morbid reminder of his dead dreams, constant painful reminder for himself that the past is dead and to keep marching forward. He is not a killer, the gun doesn’t interest him, he can’t even tell the difference between a loaded gun and an empty gun. He doesn’t care how it works it is just a tool to protect his loved ones. The presence of Malik Jr. in his life has forced him to resort to violence, but he doesn’t want to become that man.

Murtasim has found solace in the love of his life, his Meerab, she is the balm to his wounds. Meerab is helping him find his balance between KMK who has heavy responsibilities and the individual MK who has his own desires. With her guidance the belligerent personality is starting to fade, and he is transforming into the man he would have become if he lived a different life. He is helping her heal and she is helping him heal, except he has a tougher job, and his actions are obvious and deliberate, all she needs to do for him is stay in front of his eyes and breathe.

Hopefully one day when the enemy is defeated, post separation when Meerab has ascended to her position as his queen and can competently assist him in his duties, she will clear out that morose gun room and her husband can take up photography again if not full time at least part time. They can go on jungle safari cruises with the kids to Africa.

OKKKKKK BACK TO EPISODE

Meerab doesn’t say a single word in this scene, he will talk she will listen. Murtasim has laid himself bear in front of her, it is a dying man’s last gasp, this was not romantic it was tragic. Murtasim’s outer shell is strong but inside he is all mush. Meerab looks breakable from the outside, but inside she is more durable than he is. She is the emotional backbone to their unbreakable bond. He is breaking the fourth wall, a man especially an alpha like him is not allowed to cry otherwise he would be called pathetic. Talking about his past is painful for him, but he sheds tears for her pain while enduring his own hurt.

He has been trying to convince her as Lord KMK he told her she is wrong, he warns her she will get hurt, he commands her to let go of her zidd, he alerts her this could crash their marriage, but nothing he said could sway her. He fears Meerab’s naïve idealism can blind her to staking everything including herself, him, their marriage, her honour. So how to stop her from pressing the self-destruct button, talk about himself. He frames this whole conversation from the POV of his pain. He drops the KMK persona, it is just a husband begging his wife, if not for yourself please my love I beg you do this for me. The husband is pleading with the wife who loves him not to sacrifice him for a cause.

It is devastating to watch, his voice starts to crack as tears drop from his eyes, every word is a struggle for him as he edges closer to a meltdown. He bore the hurt of loss of his first love bravely, but if he loses her his one true love the pain could kill him. She is the dream he never gave up on and thought would never come true. By stroke of fate the dream becomes a reality, but this frightful thought always looms over him that his reality will fade one day is strangling him. The two times he said he loved her he was in distress, he felt like he was losing her to a greater force that is beyond his control, his ‘I love you’ is a beacon to her to not lose faith in him and leave him behind. He chokes out his final agonizing plea ‘please take care of yourself and take care of me’. The weight of emotions crashes down on him, he can’t say another word as he is emotionally spent. Only a husband who knows his wife loves him can make this appeal, as he surrenders his life to her judgement. Murtasim accepts defeat she will do what she must do, he only begs her no matter what she decides not to abandon him.

Meerab is stunned seeing her once invincible white caped hero distraught, imploring, crying in front of her. She has seen him hurt before but not like this, and her heart breaks for him. She can’t bear his cries any more than he can bear hers. Tears well up in her eyes, he tries to console her with his touch, she silently weeps as he tries to wipe away her pain. Last thing he wanted to do is make her cry because of him, he looks on regretfully at her heartbroken face.

Murtasim is the anchor, she is the mast and sail of their life, she charts the course determines the direction they head in life, it is all up to her now. There is too much pressure on Meerab her husband will die without her, Maryam will die without anus, who is she going to save, how can she save them all, what is she going to do. Murtasim said choose yourself first and choose me, she will choose him and choose the family, and ignore herself.

Maryam has decided she will kill herself or elope, there is no stopping this fool, she is a coward she won’t kill herself she will run away. Meerab is trapped she only has 3 options, first she tells Murtasim and his action will be to lock up Yam take away her tools to commit suicide and by force marry her off, but this is a crime and Meerab will never let Murtasim become a criminal, she is his shield as much as he is hers. Second option she abandons Yam to her devices, but that is a cowardly act one not befitting of Murtasim Khan’s begum. Third her only option Meerab must intervene. By becoming Maryam’s shield, Meerab is taking responsibility on her shoulders, she is softening the blow for Murtasim and his mother. Maryam will be disowned if she elopes on her own, the family breaks apart with its reputation in tatters. If Meerab takes some of the betrayal on her head, yes Murtasim will be devastated but she is also the only person he will forgive. She has faith she can calm his anger down as always, reason with him and make him see the bigger picture. MB will just conveniently blame Meerab for everything making it easier for MB to accept her daughter’s mistake, if MB relents Murtasim will eventually forgive his sister. If the family stays together there is hope for the future, but if they lose JudasYam all hope is lost. Meerab has put all her blind faith in love, her husband’s love for her and Maryam’s love for anus that at the end of the day love wins. This grand plan has no chance of working of course because Anus is zoobi doobi, but Meerab doesn’t know this hence the tragedy.

Meerab is forced to choose between Murtasim’s plea to choose him against Maryam’s madness. She has merged both her struggles into one, what is best for Murtasim is to give into his sister. This is Shakespearean tragedy, his revealing of chahath was supposed to deter her but it had the opposite effect on her and made her resolve even stronger. His intention was to protect her and save himself from the impending doom, but he inadvertently pushed her into the abyss. The revelation of his past pain made her more determined than ever to protect him from a bigger pain, because if Maryam acted unliterally the damage would be permanent. Meerab can’t save him from the hurt, but she can try to lessen its impact by taking the blame on herself.

She will shed the tears he can’t shed and fight the battles he can’t fight. She will no longer demand any sacrifices from him, he has sacrificed enough, so the wife will fall on the sword as she once promised she would for the husband she loves. She swears by her sacrifice he will remain the ideal son who obeys his mother’s wishes and the ideal leader who follows KhanDom code of laws. She will accept the punishments for her mistake and won’t blame him and his status as ideal husband will remain intact as well. She is not sacrificing him for any quest she just made him her quest.

Prince of Flirt and Maharani of teasing do the mating dance of the Alphas

Contract is a matter of pride of her. Contract has gone beyond ohhhhh he can't touch me without my consent, she is just holding on to those papers now as a symbol of her victory. Like how people collect war trophies from a battlefield to remember. She thinks she achieved something big with that contract, she knows Murtasim won't have touched her without her consent, but she is a silly girl and wants to claim this pointless victory as hers. She didn't defeat him, there never was a battle.

Contract means his word wasn't good enough for her. She wanted control and first right over herself and he promised her that before he even saw those papers, which is his wedding vow to her. Then why make him sign those papers, it is a strike against his honour. Therefore she has to destroy those papers in front of him and restore his pride before he can move forward with her. He can wait forever for her love, but he wants her trust now.

She was probably relieved when he ripped that document, but her husband is a clever fox dumps that nuisance back on her head, nope sorry babe this one is yours.

She taps his heart, it is late I will set the bed for you, now where do you want it to be. She threw the first challenge by throwing the blanket at him, he says challenge accepted when he pulls her towards him. He gives her back the blanket as she continues to stare, noooo not yet. She is so smug with the way she drops the blanket and points to the sofa, it was full tease you are the one choosing this dear husband. She didn't reject him as he knowingly smiles, sighs and nods. He looks at his watch and then looks back at her, he is going to make her wait like he did.

She wants him to make the first move, but he goes back to the sofa. He is tempted alright, smiles and stares at her the whole time but doesn't give in to desire. She is staring blankly at the ceiling he is not coming over is he. She does her final tease as she gets up smiles and flicks the blanket over her and turns her back to him, sleep on the sofa then bloody fine by me.

The bewafai song, it is his POV that he is holding back. The song doesn't start at it its natural starting point, but starts in the second stanza when the word arrogance is first mentioned.

It starts with him destroying her arrogance which is the contract, she will feel the pinch of loneliness and the world will feel desolate to her as he denies her the same pleasures she once denied him, he will show her what is real betrayal as he holds back. My darling do not be in any deception that I want this more than you, I am Master of my Domain and I will hold out longer than you can. He will trouble her with his rejection and make her cry first before he gives in. He will knock her down, punish her and ask her why she didn't trust him in the first place.

His smile drops, he looks more defiant as the song takes a more sinister tone. She can have dreams but he will interpret them for her. He is is her saviour not the lock that chains her to her trauma. But if she sees him as her enemy and tries to break free of him believing she is escaping her pain she will fail and any attempt to do so will incur his wrath.

In alpha relationships it is the dance they do before the act that is more interesting than the act itself.

Mindblowing ❤❤❤.......so well analysed....i must say decoded and described ❤.....thank you so much gundamwing for putting your thoughts on this specific meerasim sequence ...🤗

I actually like the ost played as well. When i first watched it life i didnt pay attention to the lyrics but then when i watched it again, he matches perfectly. He will break her “gurroor” and “ana”.

At this point they both want to breach the contract, but none of them wants to make the first move.. one of them has to “win” this battle!!

i dont know if its me, but ive always felt the male ost has more arrogance while female version is more sad and heart broken.

When the separation does eventually happen, his anger will break her heart.. thats what i “predict”

Loved the analysis as always ❤️

Well described heeba❤...loved this analysis 👏

Meerab and Murtasim Marriage their POVs

https://twitter.com/meerasimgifs/status/1646052745655500800?s=20

Let’s remember that birthday flower bouquet clip. It wasn’t in the episode, but promos are fair game to judge the character. Murtasim gave flowers for her birthday, and she cruelly throws it away and he is left devastated and angry. This was her pattern of behaviour against him before marriage, even if he wanted to approach her, she didn’t let him. He put up walls around his heart and anger was his defence mechanism. She was prejudiced against him and refused to see all that he could be, but he saw past her anger and only saw love. That is why he never hated her despite her endless rejections and haughty behaviour. The engagement announcement at her Bday party gave him a fool's hope that they could be possible, hope she squashed when she took off the bangles and stomped off. But fate had other plans, Meerab can't reject her destiny as they come together in holy matrimony. Murtasim dropped those walls around his heart after they get married and counted his blessings as his heart's deepest wish was fulfilled.

Because of how Meerub and Murtasim felt about each other before marriage, it impacts their attitudes towards the circumstances surrounding their union. For Meerab there was trust, concern, physical comfort and she even felt a certain level of haq over him, but she didn't love him like he loved her. When Meerab refused to marry Murtasim truth was revealed to her about her parents, thus cornering her into marrying him. Therefore, she resents this alliance because she had to lose her identity to become his wife, it is the price she had to pay to be with him. From Murtasim POV, yes it was cruel to her, but if that is what it took for them to be together, then so be it because no gain without pain. He has faith that his love can make up for all that she has lost and much more.

Murtasim recognizes they are each other's destiny. They are not a mismatch, they are opposite sides of the same coin and very similar in many ways. Meerab does not see this as her fear of commitment, disbelief in his love, and foolish ego is blocking her consciousness from accepting they are a perfect fit. The timing of her parents’ revelation, their engagement announcement, him embracing his feelings for her at the dargah, and she consenting to marriage, the stars perfectly aligned for them to be together, they are destiny’s couple.

Boy And Girl Love GIF

The existence of the contract is proof Meerab does not believe they are destined for each other, and this thought of hers is starting to suffocate him. This is one of the many reasons he is holding back even if she consents to move forward physically. He doesn’t want a compromised version of her, he wants all of her. She needs to destroy the contract physically and metaphorically, accept him with all her heart and acknowledge their alliance was predestined for them to take the next step.

Ohhhh....gundamwing why can't we have you as the narrator of Tere bin.....just loved loved and loved it❤❤❤
