I was watching some BTS today morning, which usually I never do, Rachna and Iqbal have some fab offscreen equation.. why wouldn't the makers use this to their advantage is beyond me. There should have been more stay on Videv in the macchar scene, even few more frames on the last shot would have helped.

@bold - in one of the bts Rachana and Iqbal chopped and rephrased Vidhi's dialogues saying "Aise kon bolta hai" and that made me so happy that these two are paying attention to this stuff so improvement ki at least koi mummed to hai

I actually saw a script reading session of the cast, the amount of concentration Iqbal, Rachana and Sneha put was commendable! But then editing team bhi toh apne kamaal dikhati hai

Machar scene toh ruin kardiya amba ko lakar. Bts was so cute ❤️

They need to lighten up ViDev marriage. I really hope after amba track which i think will go in may to move past ipl but uske baad thora easy hojaye please. Bohat stress hogaya ab

1. Dev accepting and addressing that he was essentially harassed by Amba in every way so i hope makers will make it a point to show that males face harassment too and its unacceptable regardless of sex

2. Chitra is essentially the baby of the family jisko har cheez plate main mili and was sheltered from everything so her lack of awareness to a certain point is understandable. But at least she accepted she made big mistake and she needs to rectify it

Basically Raichand family sab ko late hosh ata hai. Pehle abhi, phir Chitra and next on list will be Priya 🤪

3. Balghar lady vs yomba scene was too long. Filler scene tha to emphazie lack of funds

4. I liked the scene where Dev was feeling out of place at work. Maybe cause i work in a corporate environment and i have seen work places where the environment is very professional and strict and places where as logn as results are produced, the work environment is very casual and laidback. This is a difference when your boss is from old school of thought vs someone from recent times. Dev comes from old school of though and very conventional so him interacting with gen z and not getting the lingo was nicely done. The expression in the end was so Iqbal lol

5. The religious aspect of praying and asking God for help is nice, but i want Vidhi to acknowledge that practical steps need to be taken to address the lack of funds situation

6. Dev and Kaushik are becoming a thing which i am really liking! I loved the line where Dev says we have to do what Amba did to get back what is rghtfully mine and the fact that he doesnt want a badla but Amba has left him with no choice but to scheme against her to trap her. This is true Dev! Head strong but a genuine person and i hope he remains this way

Point that irked me

1. @sns23 rightly said that dialogues Vidhi said to Chitra should have been Satya! Vidhi ko bohat bare bare sentences daite hain

2. I dont mind story progression but ViDev ki thori thori development honi chahiye scenes main bus woh miss karahi hoon

3. Dont know if you guys tried it but stopping from watching bts is such big change! At least scene dekhne main acha lagta hai even if i know the summary of the plot

Great review - it was very much a filler episode. I dint expect the dancing scene so quickly - so it was an unpleasant surprise 😄 but hopefully that means today we get some ViDev.

WRT work culture - I understand different offices/industries have different work environments - but I found it extremely unprofessional for people to make such comments. As a working professional myself, I can’t imagine randomly going upto someone new/someone I work with and be like oh you need to be cas 😄 and while I understand first day scaries, dev is not a newbie in any shape way or form. He might have run a more traditional shop, but he has tons of exposure and have traveled widely, expanded his business in different countries - and although it seems like she is 45 and not 21 most days - has a much younger wife. It just dint sit well with me.

One of my pet peeves is when people blackmail God into helping. I think it’s great to have that faith and belief - but God can’t fix problems - people need to put in the effort. And every time they use God as a crutch, whether it be milapini maiyya givings signs or now fasting to get money - life doesn’t work that way. I just wish they would show that. When things do get fixed - it’ll be because Dev put in the effort. If they make it because of the 21 day fast I will loose it.

@bold - basically thora tone down hona chahiye tha, i agree. The cas part was creepy but Dev ka eye roll bohat acha tha

@ green - classic itv method. jo bhi sahi hoga woh dev hi karega. Baqi sab waise bhi chill karahe hain. I hope they use abhi to help Dev with trapping amba, they misuse his character so much

Editing was horrible yesterday.

Especially the dance - I was so tired when I saw the epi last night that I completely missed the song they had used - that and I also ffwd most of the dance 🤣🤣 but I can’t believe they actually used that song.

I think rachana, Sneha and Iqbal are super committed - it comes across in the bts, their interviews etc. for them and us I hope the shows trajectory continues to improve.

I may get criticised for what I'm about to say... I think once this track ends they should wind up the show. I don't have any hope with the makers anymore. Videv are iconic characters and if they decide on stretching the no of episodes.. They are only going to sabotage the characters which is really painful. They have made it very clear that they can't execute the scenes or tracks properly so no point dragging. Just end it gracefully.

But I really really hope that some good team ( sony Or ott) take it up and do justice to the actors, audience and the theme itself.

I think if they have no intentions of atleast trying to stick to the original theme, then they should wind up the show.

I am truly truly tired of seeing satya on my screen - I have no idea why I have all this resentment toward her character all of a sudden but I feel like she’s just become a showpiece. And vidhi is being made to do all the heavy lifting with satya just being in the background. Adding this additional drama - wrt balghar not having funds is dumb. They could have shown that Dev had set up a trust which has nothing to do with raichand industries which will fund the balghar. But no, they’ll continue to treat us like idiots.

If this is ever rebooted - I would like for there to be no hamla and satya living in the mountains teaching dance somewhere. Living her life. I can’t imagine anyone else playing dev and vidhi though - so if they were to get them on board, I am all in.
