I am never going to touch anything of NM again. She is a shitty shitty writer. First of all, she writes a woman who loses her parents, and her identity and her dreams and gives her no time or space to come to terms with that.

She says Meerab is a strong girl; the teasers heavily implied that and even Murtu gives the dialogue- tum meerab ho , hoslewali, himmatwali, kissise na daarne wali -

None of which is ever showcased in the show. meerab is always shown to be stubborn and in the wrong.The narrative always places her on the wrong place and then makes stubbornly clueless about her mistakes. She was never given the chance to root for.

She has no emotional consistency. No respect or love for her family, her husband or even her sis in law. She speaks rudely with all - is that how NM views educated empowered woman? Is this a show made to taint these woman? Even Mariyam who was given freedom to study was shown to be dumb and eventually left with a horrible fate? So the regressive attitude of forced marriages is constantly justified, the need to stop woman from studying is also shown to be right..

NM also doesn’t understand plot points. She spends the first 20 episodes building a love story which flounders, stagnates and then is destructed in the next 10 episodes. Even if separation happens now who wants Meerasim to reunite?!

She just made a cocktail of all ITV plots and jumbled it up with no continuity or logic in its sequence

So she managed to ruin mariyam.

She went against her husband who is ready to die for her.

But she kept quite when Murtasim asked about malik jr. Now if murtasim even calls her a lier then I think as a human being he is justified.
