I take all of her lying to herself and others as her defense mechanism... She will not confront her own truth unless she is shook to the chore and that kind of mentality made her imagine her dead husband now so that she can confess her feelings in a way that is acceptable to her....

She might be the most mature person when it comes to others but when it comes to her own self she becomes this turbulent emotional mess....😂😂😂

I guess it's realistic in some way....

This remind me of 1 dialog from ae fil hai mudkil

Pyar mein junnon hai magar dosti mein sukoon hai.

Now Katha will feel that junoon wala pyar with Viaan.

I so agree with you , acc to me everyone(including me) is so focused in bashing Viaan for turning majnoo and the staring that we are not seeing what they are trying to portray about Katha and true even i have not seen any FL like her ( i missed some episodes in between)

She is shown to be mahaan in domestic and work related stuff but as a person she is is shown as flawed just as Viaan or even more , she is undoubtedly the most complex FL ,the conviction with which she lies is unmatched

Yesterday i could not control my laughter when she was talking about emotional quotient while hiring ,

Acc to me she has the lowest EQ amongst all the Earthcon employees

Whatever is given to me, I nurture and make it better before I return it to you, this is how women function naturally.

Coming back to KA VIAAN very well articulated kathaa's problem when he said, HOPE NEVER thrives under the shade of fear. He's also well aware that kathaa has same feelings for him, but not matching his intensity. It's only a matter of time for kathaa's simmering feelings to reach the boiling point. He could have highlighted the many occasions she opened upto him, but this guy is commendable, he's awaiting her to come out and admit her feelings on her own.

Finally Kathaa is not a hypocrite, and she has thoughtfully made the decision to not let her emotions make the decision regarding viaan's proposal. Because she has experienced the consequences of disapproval of parents for a marriage and hence she will never repeat that mistake also she can't stress an 8yr old boy who's just recovered from terminal illness, by introducing someone as his future god knows what relationship.

There's no point in being brutally honest when the truth can have catastrophic effects on many people.

Next up we are going to have Viaan gifting Kathaa the architectural masterpiece paintings he wanted to see all for herself.

LOL yes, that was yet another example about the confidence with which she preaches on every topic like she herself is a master of EQ😆.

Katha is in deep need of self-reflection....lol ironically Viaan has become a much more self-reflective person after meeting her and falling in love with her....she has taught him to look inwards and do soul searching like he never did in life before. But for Katha it has all reversed....she has only become a more opaque person after meeting Viaan and suppresses even more things inside herself.

@bold: Neither of these things have been shown like that in the episodes. Viaan just yesterday told Aarav that he doesn't think Katha feels anything for him and she bandaged his hand out of kindness.

And Katha very clearly showed in the scene with Adi that the reason for her decision to reject Viaan is not related to Aarav or parental disapproval....it all stems from her feeling like she's betraying Adi if she feels anything for another man.

It's not about needing to be brutally honest without heed to consequences.....it's about showing some level of internal conflict if you know what you are saying is not the truth. Katha never shows any of that....this scene with Adi was a rare exception where she acknowledged that she feels something for Viaan....but otherwise she goes around lying to everyone and never has a moment of self-reflection that she is lying mainly to keep Viaan at bay and not complicate their lives with this relationship.

Very aptly put. I personally feel what the makers are trying to show is that she doesn't even give a thought to her own feelings. She is just surviving on her past feelings and convincing herself to be content in them and everyone around her, hence her ability to lie so confidently....

So, she doesn't even care about what she is feeling currently.... Except when she is shook to the core by her own feelings which kind of break a wall inside herself and then she is forced to confront what she is feeling right now....

You're right, that does seem to be the intention of the makers....to show how clueless Katha is about her own feelings and that is why she is able to lie so confidently cuz feels that just thinking something makes it true.....she has told herself over and over again that her past is enough for her to live a lifetime of memories with so now she is desperately trying to make that her reality. Still, I think it would be nice if makers showed her internal struggles a bit more frequently to show how the facade is crumbling.

In today's episode also she very confidently tried to show she is unaffected by Viaan by sharing her lunch with him.....but ultimately DHAK DHAK mode returned when she heard Viaan talking about his thoughts on love being that special ingredient that makes food enjoyable.....lol I understand they are trying to show Katha feeling drawn to Viaan but literally playing a DHAK DHAK bg score for such scenes feels like a little overkill😆.....like the audience won't get it until they literally HEAR her heartbeat going boom boom?😆

Yeah.... I do hope they show her inner thoughts and feelings a bit more.... And maybe as her realisation of feelings progresses we get more depth into her character.... Maybe she will unravel more as she feels more... For now, atleast she realised there is something... That's a good start ...

Baaki sab, for now it seems like makers are sticking to Boom boom...😂😂😂 Also it feels like since they show her pov very less when they do show it it must be extremely intense and more in the face like this DHAK DHAK...

And as we know even with the good pace of this show... It's still a show.... They take their time... And apparently they are taking the most time in setting up their love story.... It's fine by me as long as they do justice and don't take too long....

Katha didn't consider Eshan close friend. Infact it is opposite of that. Eshan is friend of Viaan which mean giving any hint to Eshan means giving to Viaan.

Similar she told the same to her MIL because she is not close to her.

Dodo and Reva are her close friend and I don't think she said this to Dodo that she didn't feel anything towards Viaan. Even when Viaan was accused and Katha was heavily confused, she didn't reveal her dark secret with Dodo. So Rewa is the closest friend which she can share her exact feeling.
