It’s irritating how Nav doesn’t have any self respect right now. He might be thinking about the future or wanting to keep peace but he should be sensible enough to know nothing will work on Abhimanyu right now, give that man some space and time and then try to work it out.
I can already see Abhimanyu asking for forgiveness sooner or later because that’s what he always does but for now he doesn’t want to listen to nobody.
I hope makers don’t turn these two brothers. I just can’t imagine any of that. Like how will they be brothers in the first place?
See he can’t go against his wife, but he does talk on abhiM behalf to akshara, stops her when she is trying to get a bit overboard. It may not be a lot , but the point is he doesn’t have to do even this much and let these two dish it out or maybe do even worse.
He wants akshara to face the truth about abhiM involvement with abhir, and wants to make it a smooth sailing instead of being angry and making it worse. He has always been that person right.
He has a good grasp of reality and I feel he is trying his best to make it work.Abhinav is 5 steps ahead of abhiM, abhiM will eventually once he calms down and wakes up to the ground situation, he will also realise that being i outs with abhirs adoptive father won’t do him any good
I have thought about this before.
Nav and Abhi relation.
Then I tried to understand Nav's perspective.
Imagine Nav's first interaction with Abhi.
1. Abhi is stranded alone in Kasauli... He did not get any lift from anyone. He called Nav. Nav politely refused as he have to go to the Fancy dress competition. Maybe Nav expected a distressed and irritated answer. But Abhi was nice to him and understood Nav's priority.
2. Next, when they do meet, Abhi joins Nav by joking instead of you know... being annoyed. And did not show any classism.
3. He allows Nav to go to Abhir's school. I wouldn't do that... "Please send me to my hotel first or provide me with another taxi and you go to school yourself." would have been my answer.
4. He then talks to Nav about his past... He cries in front of him and all that. He tells him that he lost his faith because of his life. Nav doing that feels ok as he is an open book... But Abhi telling him about a little bit of the past... makes Abhi treat Nav as someone close. For example: After meeting Ak he does not say random strangers his story... He does a bad standup comedy. He did not even say anything properly to Rohan about his pain.. just cried. But with Nav, he was honest. About what compelled Abhi to be honest with Nav... I have no freaking idea
5. He hears Abhi treating his dead brother's child as his own.. and that must have made him feel better about Abhi
6. He then hears Abhi go to the police station because of his son's mischief.. and did not even complain.
All these points.. before finding out that Abhi And Ak are related.
Then Abhi's interaction with Nav was still decent after knowing the truth.
He respected Neelama and joined the wedding even though he did not want to.
He even drank alcohol with Nav(The ultimate man-friend thingy according to every fiction).
He called Nav a friend after treating him.
For Nav, He must remember only these good things. He saw Abhi cry, happy, and many other expressions before knowing the truth.
He did not see his anger.. and that is why he cannot understand Ak's fear.
The phone call 6 years ago.. was still without any context... Nav still doesn't know what happened in their bedroom. He does not know if both of them angrily decided to separate or if one of them just got super angry. He knows Ak and Abhi are very emotional people. But that's it.
Nav's impression of Abhi is based on his humanity, decency, and lack of classism.
He also said during Mimi's birthday, He do not want to judge Abhi by his past. And he does not know the full past. He only knows the present AbhiM properly, so he can judge him only by the present.
Regarding him not telling Abhi about the son, because, in his mind, it is Akshara's secret to tell. He may have told everyone if the situation warranted.. but the next time he met Abhi... Abhi was planning to move on... There was no need to tell and make things complicated for Abhi. (Father being mausa ji is ok as it happens everywhere and every time. It is not a big deal.)
In his mind, Abhir has two fathers... Abhimanyu and Abhinav.. And that is a fact.
So, Nav genuinely was a friend of Abhi and I think Abhi also thought of Nav as a friend as he felt betrayed by Nav more than Ak (At least that's what I felt).
Abhi feels Ak at least has a reason to not tell him.. she is angry...
But what about Nav, his friend, why did he betray him?
So Nav understands Abhi.. but I am hopeful.. if Abhi crosses boundaries, then Nav will not stand still.
Till now, Abhi did not cross any boundaries, Him being rude, a friend can understand that. He wants time with Abhir, a father can understand that.
But if he thinks of taking Abhir from the Sharma family, instead of co-parenting, Maybe Nav will speak up.
For Nav, all relationships are pious and important..maybe because he was an orphan. he values every relationship. His friendship is Abhi was also very important to him like other relationships.
So Nav trying to mend his relationship is understandable to me.
He is just trying to understand everyone s pov and trying to bring a balance to a chaotic situation

Absolutely right. He is angry with him as a friend not because he is foster father. He wanted to be Nav at least honest with him.
One more theory keeps on popping up.
He mentioned the word IVF.
When Abhinav met Akshara he was on his way to Pathankot from Udaipur. He did not mention anything about his past to Akshara or. Abhimanyu apart from the orphan narrative. Let us assume, he arranged for donors or childless couples to visit certain IVF clinics in UP.
Suppose Ruhi is a IVF baby. Aarohi as such has too many skeletons in her closet.
Writers can definitely connect him with the Birlas one way or the other.
True! Abhinav has no self respect! It may stem from the fact that he is an orphan. He thinks of himself as someone who is not blessed and will lose everything eventually. But that fact make him always ready to let go.
I agree that he probably tries to mend relationships and tries to hold them together because as one who grew up without any , he probably values whatever has come to him through Abhir and Akshara ..
I did feel bad that there is no one who feels angry on behalf of Akshara how wronged she was and I would have liked at least the people from her current life or from Goenkas to have that indignation on her behalf .. but not a single soul who feels she was wronged and everyone is busy being good to the people who wronged her and being very understanding .. but I understand that he probably takes people at face value and probably does not feel as confident judging people from her past life ..
But I do feel he should spend his efforts trying to get Akshara to come to a middle ground .. not by saying about how Bhajji would be feeling because no one including Sbhinav seems to get how Akshara is feeling or just have felt .. but more from this is where we are and what is the best way to move forward here .. that should be his role .. and it is Alshara and Abhimanyu who needs to find a friendly ground .. not Abhinav and Abhimanyu .. if Alshara and Abhimanyu finds a middle ground then automatically the two fathers will have a middle ground .. but GE should also understand to give space to people especially when there could be a grievance and no form friendship .. he definitely should use his persuasive powers to get Akshara to calm down without belittling her fears or trauma and saying his trauma or pain is bigger than hers ..
