Why is Abhinav so keen on remaining Abhimanyu's friend?

Disclaimer - This is not a bashing post or against Abhinav in any twisted manner and also it is not about Abhimanyu

In tonight's episode, Abhinav kept insisting on being Abhimanyu's friend which I feel was kind of weird because Abhinav's relationship or connection with Abhimanyu is through Akshara

The other day, he told Akshara that Abhimanyu's pain is bigger than her fear then he spoke about "Lamba Saath" with Abhimanyu

There are too many soul connections in this show

Is Abhinav somehow related to Abhimanyu? They didn't introduce his family and Star Plus' most of the shows are going for PL being brother of ML plot

I think he is thinking ahead. If they have good equations it’s easier for abhir , and its easier for them to coparent.

It did come to my mind, I thought he is trying to be nice so Abhimanyu doesn't take Abhir from him

But then I thought, If that was the case, he would have revealed this to Askhara in some manner because Abhimanyu being good isn't the only issue, Akshara can't stand him and the more she pushes Abhimanyu, the more he'll get agitated.

He is on a sympathetic mode. All goody goody now

But i feel ifhe smells danger....his true self will come out

See he can’t go against his wife, but he does talk on abhiM behalf to akshara, stops her when she is trying to get a bit overboard. It may not be a lot , but the point is he doesn’t have to do even this much and let these two dish it out or maybe do even worse.

He wants akshara to face the truth about abhiM involvement with abhir, and wants to make it a smooth sailing instead of being angry and making it worse. He has always been that person right.
He has a good grasp of reality and I feel he is trying his best to make it work.

Abhinav is 5 steps ahead of abhiM, abhiM will eventually once he calms down and wakes up to the ground situation, he will also realise that being i outs with abhirs adoptive father won’t do him any good

I would love this Twist... It will further prove that without family he grew up to be just fine whereas Abhimanyu is royally screwed up adult.

That's his ckt trait. He believe in long term relationship. Or may be for the future track it may be both Abhi may be connected somehow. Other blood relationship. Because if Abhinav is a permanent ckt then he must have background story.

Because he is the only sane parent caught between two inconsiderates who are not thinking about Abhir in the long run.

He has co parented Abhir from birth, so there is no question of him leaving his status. It's not his fear, it's his right.

If AK and AbhiM keeps on fighting, it is going to affect Abhir , the three should sit down and pave a plan to co parent. How they could share rights. It is what Abhinav wants to do but the biological parents are busy fighting and throwing blame.

At the end its ITV, the whole drunk epi seemed to foreshadow Abhinav being AbhiMs long-lost brother. Hope it doesn't happen.

They can always bring that twist of rishtedaari in the show and hence had kept his entry open...

Abhinav has no self respect, but I can imagine that it can be one way to punish him for being nice (like akshu was punished)... He is trying to keep peace and environment to be positive but he doesn't realize how he is failing given toxicmanyu is always around😆

PS: can someone tell me how did he get Sharma as his surname (last name)? Didn't he say, that he didn't have one? Did they pic chith and decided on it?
