you know people who like those red flag guys na, they live in delusion world , they think that guy will change from them only and thus they like such .male leads.And half of them who watch such shows are still teenagers who have not got the reality check thats the problem. Also ,now you can you see almost every show has Toxic male leads and the channels and producers give them because its quite in demand ,And trp says it all, you can see how much the male leads are toxic but still people will worship them and want the female lead to go with such leads and for this character butchering of good characters are done so badly especially the second lead guys and girls who are truly good and in all sense deserve to be with good male lead or good female lead .The maturity sense and the difference between reel and real is also going down the drain, because of which people like toxicity . Gone are the days when leads were not toxic .i have seen old shows where leads were not toxic and geniunely supported female leads.
