Love is blind and asfand atleast belived the girl he loved over his brother whereas the ml believed his stalker over his wife . He clearly knew how manipulative hareem is and still won't take a second to throw his wife out the house multiple times.🤢 It's also said that the brothers aren't very close. So they both not believing each other made sense.

The drama went overboard with the stereotype and it's there from both sides. Just because there is this sterotype that Americans live in their own bubble doesn't mean they should built an entire character on that stereotype. even the conservative behaviour of dawood is extreme as well. They are supposed to live in karachi which i guess is one of the biggest cities in indian subcontinent but he behaves like koi pind se aaya hai😆. The funniest was how he was lecturing kim about how wrong she is to think her pov was the right one when he and his grandfather have the same😆. But the drama does have the old school charm and i like its simplicity. Even when characters do absurd thinks it don't look ott.

I don't find Aaliya or kim absurd or stupid. Kim is stubborn but she is good to people who are good to her and dont try to impose anything on her. She don't like people forcing their ideologies on her. She is a single child brought up by a rich father so she will be spoiled in some sense and she is blunt but she isn't stupid. Ignorant maybe.

Aaliya is not even spoiled or blunt. She is right now the most relatable female lead out there. Gets emotional with people close to her heart but have a brave face on for others. That's pretty much how most people are. She also isn't very self righteous. She bends her ethics to run her household. A lot of people do that in real life.

You are right but it's actually the general attitude of heroines which I don't like not their ideologies. I can't connect with most of the female leads because of their attitude because I can't idealize that attitude. I like girls who are reserved and graceful, who pays no heed to the nonsense around them, a girl like Zubiya and Khaani are an example for it.

They weren't weak or timid instead they were strong yet reserved. I like such girls because it's not necessary to indulge in nonsense to prove your strength and they did the same by having the no nonsense attitude. Apart from that I'll say that Aaliyah surely has a good ideology, she is loving, caring and responsible whereas Kim needs to experience practical life because she appears sheltered and pampered. She has a lot to learn in life to become mature.
