TB is about KMK only. Yes harpie gets most scenes, but the only person emotions, character growth, pain we are supposed to focus on is him, he is the POV character. He is the one will evolve, change, grow and adapt to Meerab. She will remain the same, her core values will be constant, she will become more wiser on how she deploys them but she as a person won't change. For all those who accuse her character of not changing since episode 1, she won't and she is not supposed to.
Murtasim is changing not because he wants to impress her and get laid, but because he is a good man strives to be a great man not just for her sake but for himself too as he has heavy burdens on his shoulder. She is not falling in love with him because he yields to her demands, the wife and queen have different demands. Her first thoughts are this will change the system, she was looking at he bigger picture and she challenges Khan Murtasim Khan to face them.
Their public face which is the king and queen have high expectations of each other. How they behave impacts other peoples lives, they have high responsibilities, they have to be at their best so that they can do their best for others. They have the authority of the rule in their hands, but to successfully reign you need character.
