Yes as his biological father he must have a say in abhirs treatment , but this "acting entitled" reaction is exactly what I didn't wanna see. Did he for once reflect on his mistakes ?

Today's episode and that mandir episode are my favorite of Akshara. Kya bajaya usne Abhimanyu Birla ko. The way she ripped him apart with truth is just awesome. Akshara started off as a significantly weaker character compared to her grandmother and mother. But after leap, she has become so much better. This is the sort of FLs we need. One who learns from the past and has the strength to move on from it. Not the one who keep crying for a man who treated her like dirt and threw her out. Not the one who pine for a man who forgot basic humanity in the face of hardship and treated her worse than an enemy. Akshara is strong, determined and knows how to fight her own battles. That day in mandir she showed him the crimes he did against her. Today she made him aware of the wrongs he did to her child. He claims that he could have been a good father. But with what right is asking for that opportunity. He could never be a good husband, could not treat Abhir's mother with the respect she deserved and yet he has the audacity to ask for fatherly rights. He denied fatherly rights to his own father because of latter's crimes to his mother. So how can he ask for Abhir's rights after treating his mother like trash.

Akshu pointed out a very important truth today.. Abhimanyu Birla can be Abhirs' docman, his uncle and many other things but never his father. Nobody can show the love, the dedication Abhinav and Akshara showered on Abhir. They are the ones who brought him to this world, gave him the best upbringing and kept him away from all the harms. Abhir is alive because of Abhinav and Akshara's determination and love. No matter what claims Abhimanyu makes, he can never replace Abhir's parents. That is what Abhimanyu need to recognize and come to terms with. I'm glad RS got Zama Habib on board with the leap. The show has become so much better under his guidance and the characters are fleshed out much better. RS and team has done a good job in showing something different, something progressive in ITV.
