She was so so bad! She really struggled and all her acting skills or lack of got exposed

Esp that mirror scene..any one who has seen the original would know how caricaturish she was all through..also the mascara filled eyes with mascara falling off..they could not make all this more caricaturish..

I think she was pretty good in Daawat E Ishq and annoying in many others.

She is a great actress. I recently re-watched Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar and her performance was flawless. She also gave exceptional performances in her debut film, Hasee to Phasee, and the Girl on the Train remake. In my opinion, she is as good as, if not better than, Alia. I personally think she is both under and over rated. Because she is a very inconsistent actress.

Some people are consistent in being good [Rani] , some are consistent on being stagnant/same type of acting [Taapsee] (which is not always a bad thing), and some are consistent at being bad [Disha/Katrina..etc]

Some people start off inconsistent and grow consistent [Kareena is #1 in this, Alia]. Some start consistent and grow inconsistent [Imran Khan]. Some people find out how to manipulate their inconsistency to their advantage [Deepika].

Actually minty, another actor who has the same problem right now is Sid C. Just like Parineeti he is a very inconsistent actor. When they are at their best - they are unstoppable. But then they are at their worst. No in between.

She underrates herself. If she had better film choices, people would be signing her praises.

Lmaoo yes! Did you see the scene, the climax, where she confronted the villain? She looked like a 10 year

Old at an amateur play. 🤣 She was sooo awful particularly there, that I just burst out laughing while watching it. She’s terribly over-rated.

I couldn't help myself but compare Parineeti 's Mira with Emily Blunt's Rachel. So much difference in portrayal. Emily was more more superior. When they're making remakes, they should take care for the perfect casting as comparisons are inevitable.

Though Parineeti isn't that bad as an actress, but she has very less emotional range. She excelled in her first movie and Hasee to phasee. Other than that I don't see anything exemplary from her.

I loved her on ishaqzade and hassd to fasee. More than her acting,i love her simplicity and nature. It's cute.

May be now for her personal life( linked up with raghav) many are bashing her!

She was really good in LVRB, Ishaqzaade, Shudh Desi Romance and Hasee Toh Phasee. But - the roles were all very similar. People won’t watch you act in the same role again and again.

Kill Dill, is what killed her career and she has never bounced back since. That was almost 10 years ago btw. It’s safe to say the moment is over.

Once upon a time , I liked her only in hasee toh phasee😆

And that was it.
