I really liked the episode too! It was edited well and i felt there was more flow in the continuity

I want to say everyone in the episode raised valid questions today that i as a viewer had in my mind

Seema's conversation with Bimla was spot on. Vijay comes and does whatever he wills and these guys are all helpless so Seema's concern about her protection is valid and Bimla may not say it but she agrees that Seema is right.

What abhi did with Rakesh was very true to his character. He has always been shown has impulsive person who reacts before thinking and then suffers. The only time he acted sensibly was when Dev needed support to marry Vidhi but otherwise he is a very vulnerable person. Part of it because he himself is on the verge of losing his family with Priya's affair so it makes sense that his rationality is out the door

I dont think Rakesh is dead (could be wrong) but i feel Amba has put Rakesh in a coma and falsified the death report to trap Abhi. If she can get someone from the govt to demolish Sharma house and then get the court to give stay order than she can pull off this too.

I had trouble reading Yogesh today because it did seem like his sinister mode does not agree with murder but he is under Amba's spell so who knows how far he is willing to go. He could also be someone who can flip in the future to save himself so i want to see how far he goes

I think Priya was actually sorry for the Rakesh mess cause she feels she screwed up big time. I am glad this angle came back because i want closure to this topic between abhi and priya. Once the house (which is under her name) is taken away by Amba will probably lead to some redemption because this time she will be a victim too

Dev's anger towards Abhi was very well portrayed and the questions he raised were valid. The entire hall scene with the Raichands was very well done. His annoyance with Hili mausi was spot on and i think she will be the next one receving an earful from Dev

I also want to add that i love Vidhi and Simmi's bond. Vidhi has a very maternal instinct towards Simmi and i think even Priya was thankful today Vidhi putting Simmi at ease after the arrest

Agree with Priya, hilli and yogu. Hilli’s main purpose is to play manthara - so I really wish she does that and moves on. Priya and abhi there is very little both of them can do to redeem themselves in my eyes. I wish they go somewhere with simmi, focus on rebuilding their relationship and their lives.

I am willing to give how they have written Dev so far a pass because of everything that’s been going on. The 25 vs 50L did raise his concerns but he never got a chance to follow through on it. it’s been one after the other after the other. Again I don’t know if it is intentional - to build Amba up as much as they can or if it’s just lazy writing. Will give them the benefit of doubt and presume it is intentional.

If real life is anything to go by, it doesn’t take more than a few bad decisions for huge companies to fall. Dev is not a bad businessman or an idiot - but he has made a few bad decisions - the biggest of them being trusting his friends and family more than anything when they truly dint deserve it. It’ll take some out of the box thinking/behavior to get out of this mess and I want to see them do that.
Abhi did dumb things, dev did the dumbest thing by giving him the reins of the company. This is something that has been very very hard for me to digest. But that was a trust fall - and Abhi failed horribly.

For someone like dev, it takes a whole lot for him to trust someone. But when he lets someone into his circle of trust, I don’t think he will go back and keep second guessing it. Which is why Yogesh and Kanika took him for a ride. Yogesh is greedy, so he made his bed with Amba, but more than anything Yogesh is self serving - he is seeing how far Amba is willing to go, and I think he is realizing he dint sign up for murder.

It’ll be interesting to see how things fall - but the truth is, I will take this any day over kitchen politics. And hamla. From day 1 if I have hated anyone with a passion in this show, it has been hamla 🙈🙈 they are horrible, and they get away with it in the name of middle class sanskaar.

@bold - absolutely! Dev's concerns were there but then they went on a honeymoon and this Divya track happened so his focus completely shifted. I think the Divya track really killed the flow the story had. Had they gone into this track post their honeymoon would have worked better because this plot was in the making for so long!

Dev's biggest mistake was giving away control so hoping it all comes back to him as he rightly deserves it

@blue - and i think this is his weakness as a person which is why he is in this position today. He was backstabbed from within the people he loves and cares for so in some ways he is at a loss too. I am willing to give him some time to put the piece together and then design a course of action

@green - bilkul, at least the thrill is better than women fighting in kitchen and hamla acting stupid. in fact they shame middleclass sanskar, its their own small thinking that is the issue

I know everyone is frustrated with how long and how far Amba is going - but she promised to burn everyone to the ground, and she is doing that. Amba will get her due - but she needs to finish what she started. Her fall will start once she reaches her peak.

another feedback for the makers from all of us i guess is to make use of celebrations to give some light moments give the audience some breathing space

for the last year almost, except for holi and diwali (that too done in one episode) we got nothing like birthdays, new years or whatever else comes along

those events change the tempo for a while and we can enjoy as well

On a more serious note though, I have a Question , and this is for everyone - What would make you start enjoying the show again?
In my case it will be if they get rid of hamla, give a break to Amba, satya and focus on dev and vidhi - be it through him rebuilding his empire and her focusing on her whatever.

But if you look at the history of this show - from episode 1-99 it was hamla drama while building up dev and vidhi, from 100-170 or so it was dev vidhi getting together, and from 170 on it’s gone off the rails with kitchen drama. Amba’s revenge was to be expected, but the fact that they’re stretching it to this extent is what is proving to be hard to swallow.

My opinion is there should be sone separation track between Abhi and Priya. And they should be together only if they both mend their ways. Until then Priya ( from outside home) can help Dev to build his business as part if her atonement.

4) chithra must get divorced and stay with her mom.

5) vidhi must help Dev with the business.. They should live seoarately.

1. I wish Hilly chali jaye but i doubt that will happen. They will probably bring in Rohit (her son) in the story to keep the drama going

2. Taking Hamla away for a while would be lovely! Though i had a soft spot for Bimla but lately they are not in the good books of anyone

3. I really want Priya Abhi and Simmi to redeem their relationship for makers too show them in a positive note. they are good actors and should get some good scenes too

4. Chitra is def making a comeback in the raichand house so her life is probably going to be angle in the story in the future

5. This would be really nice to watch but separate living hamari wishful thinking. Jealousy track with new angle bhi acha idea hai. i loved the jalkukda dev

@bold - and if you notice, ever since confession ViDev are continously fighting at all ends, except for the shadi sequence, there struggle has not ended for them to get some light hearted moments. The makers spent months building amba's revenge plot so they will juice it out to max

Great review. I want to save my final thoughts about priya until after this week. I am unable to read her or relate to her. Maybe this was bad editing, but she dint seem all too concerned that her husband was being arrested. She just looked confused. Whatever said and done - after she heard how Yogesh and Amba took advantage of Abhi, she still went ahead and revealed what Kanika said to Amba. I will be very hard pressed to trust her and she is slowly heading into the zone of hard to redeem.

I don’t think Rakesh is dead either, because the whole scene was very vague. It was meant as a plot point and I think they will revive him to reveal to priya/abhi that this was all plotted by Amba - and then maybe they’ll realize their foolishness. And maybe also to freak Yogesh out. To turn him into Dev’s ally again, to save his own skin? Who knows.
