Because the way he spiked the drink ...the smirky smile

But now he is the big supporter of Katha Viann

Ngl this guy hasn’t come out of the woods totally for me…. I low key suspect they are going to show him showing his “true colors” or something later. BUT BUT i am shipping him with Annirudh from pyramid!!!

the thing is Teji as a problematic person or as not a very open person or one with immense insecurities and delusions was shown as such from the beginning- this isn’t an about turn of any sorts… and we as an ITV audience are so conditioned that we not only didn’t expect anything different, we have our reasons ready for her behavior.

while I am not denying any of the reasons analyzed here on the forum, it is sad that we don’t demand better. I remember my bhabhi’s sister and mother had major reservations to get my bhabhi married to my bhai becos my mom is a single mom and that she “must be very controlling and treating her boy as the man of the house… “ Thank god for my bhabhi who stood up for my bhai and my mother.

I know single mothers who have been ok with their sons getting married to divorcées with babies. It exists, it happens… VERY RARE… but it exists … it would be nice if it is normalized, I suppose

Viaan is happy. So, let's just let him be happy, He deserves it.

Tots agree…

Katha represents the sensible and practical side of all of us … yeh aise kyu kiya, yeh aise nahi karna, soch samajh ke steps lena…

Viaan represents the heart on the sleeve, doing it for our heart side … the one we are more than happy to kill within us… or the one who is killed by the world outside…

most of us experience our Viaan side when we are teenagers … Viaan never got to be a teenager

Most of us experience our Katha side when we are older with more responsibilities.. Viaan needs to remind Kathaa of her Viaan side

and it was slowly happening … remember her standing in the car and experiencing the titanic pose… she has been here before… she needs to revisit it again… and Viaan lives here now

I know a few moms, including from 2 generations before me who were totally ok with their sons marrying single moms. This needs to be highlighted. We don’t need to regress and normalize the wantings or delusions. You are bang on here. I know we all need a story and so we need to have all types of behavior and attitude in it, but some things can definitely be more positive.

Teji's character is very well written with links to real life .

As a mom she is real . Even today marrying a women elder to man is not so easy . Mothers dont encourage such marriages . Widow remarriage with a bachelor is also not so easy and with child is a big no unless its a second marriage for the guy.

This show from the initial episodes has shown Ehsan and Farah being ok with Kathaa marital status and kid . But in future may be they might not gel good with Araav and have issues.

But atleast they have put forward that these kind of relationships are ok .

Teji is a typical mother who wants her aon married to a high society single girl and live happily which is normal too from her POV

If we are ready to buy into the possibility of how an arranged marriage can stoke love between two people…through so called patience and love and support… Why can’t we buy into the possibility of a single mom who has loved and lost be able to to love again… through the same patience and love and support !!?

I will tell you why… becos historically and culturally we believe that it’s the woman who is the contributor of the patience and love and support and that in a single mom scenario, it will have to be the man … and a patriarchal society thinks that’s too much expectation from a man… and it may be true …

but if we don’t give men that chance and write them off beforehand.. what a disservice we do to men… good men… and to society at large..

I like the “low-key suspect” adjective for Ehsan. It seems to me like that too. He still likes to unnecessarily jump between Viaan and Katha whenever they start a convo. Looks very very sneaky🤣🤣🤣

Also notice every time he starts talking the Bg music starts ominous and then becomes normal… hinting at low key suspect!!! Usko Anniruddh dilaado then I will buy into this change … someone needs to get on Twitter and convince Sony to write the first gay couple on prime ITV
