Ayesha was literally asked in every single interview how it feels like working with ITV's Saif-Kareena duo but not the other way around. Neil was asked few times & I believe he gave the most uninterested reply

Is making Viru pyscho worth the risk? Kitna bhi SaiYa-SaiYa karo (someone make a VM on Saiyaara on them jab shaadi ke baad unke scenes mile, they just individually have so much angst in them) TRP audience stuck because they wanted SaiRat, because the show promised angst (and toxicity) which now is just madness. There is nothing on Sai's side for Virat anymore.

And yes, I always wanted someone new for Sai, even when I gave up on the show and would just troll under the IF articles. But we still have people justifying Virat's behaviour (m nt moral policing anyone) which means, they are still hoping for SaiRat to happen.

Also, Ik, if Starplus starts holding up to the values of feminism and sensitivity and logic, it will fail. Indian TV thrives on audience's need for drama and if it was supposed to be sensible, three out of the very few shows that I think would be SP's hit would be Ek Hasina Thi, P.O.W. Bandhi Yuddh Ke and Everest.

A similar track was shown in P.O.W, Sartaj doesn't love Harleen and asks for divorce. But the handling of that and this is very different. Here, this track reminds me of Vidyut from Naamkaran. Yes, Virat didn't kill Sai's only parent figure in life and use that to blackmail her to marry him. But my point is, with right writers, human faults can be explored well and I don't think ITV audience are ready for grey characters (reason why Maya from Beyhad 1 was turned a slightly -ve and only JW's popularity made people justify her and hope that Maya won) we need black and white.

Audience, especially ITV, see the characters through the director's lens. Agar Director ne bola yeh positive hai toh yeh positive hai, agar -ve, toh -ve. So is making Viru the next Paakhi really a good idea?

Use of other shows was just for example, not comparison, kripya IF COC rules iss post ki wajah se na tode, dhanyawaad🙈
