Aise nahi hota behen.. Dosage weight pe calculate hota hai. 10 saal ka baccha obese ho, toh kya usse kam dose effect karega? Aur dose doctors likhte hajn, Pharmacy wale nahi..35-40 kg ke baad bacche ko adult dose hj diya jata hai..

Depends on both age and weight. There are medicines you cannot give unless kids hit certain age and after that dosage depends on weight.

In reality here in US, the first thing doctor/nurse/lab person starts with is Patient's name and dob . Things might be different there. But overall, we cannot expect logic in ITV.

I work in a paediatric department myself and deal with premature babies.

Accurate data is very much important for any hospitals. I don't agree with this notion that it's not important because that is barbaric.

There are many many reasons as to why inaccurate D.O.B could possess difficulties for doctors, sonographers etc.

For example, breech babies often have hip dysplasia and not knowing the accurate age of babies is not good when the ultrasound is performed because imagine scanning the baby later than the 6 week protocol! They may require x-ray instead because ultrasound isn't able to detect the socket properly. X-ray has radiation so not very ideal for babies.

In short, age is important. Falsifying documents is a crime for a reason.

Paediatrician children ko vaccine bhi as per age dete hai and medication dosage bhi according to child’s age dena hota hai. For eg. 6 month ke baby and 1 years ke baby ka basic fever/cold drops ka dosage bhi change ho jata hai fir yeh toh itni badi surgery hai and medication bhi hoga post surgery so abhir ka dosage sahi se count nahi hoga.

Ek toh doctor ko jutha age show karegi and agar kisi wrong dosage ki wajah se baby ko side effect hoga toh fir kya karegi akshara?!

Itni badi surgery hone ja rahi ho tab kaun aisa risk leta hai apne child ke liye wrong dosage ka?!
Baat baat par juth bolna, baate chipana yeh akshara ka purana nature hai lekin this was not the correct time.
As I have said, kaisi maa hai ! Kabhi babies ko goons ke paas le jati hai , kabhi forest mai le jati hai, kabhi dunia ko zinda bacche ka maatam manane deti hai and now hadd hai itne bade surgery ke liye jutha age show karegi.

But yeah he does considering he is going to perform a very important surgery what if he gives medicine basis the age which Drs do.

His premature delivery history he should know.

He should know that in the womb he was a twin and then how and what happen. Usually to determine his overall health.

Hi dear long time no see after a longgg time hope all is well. Agree age and weight are taken into consideration for administering anaesthesia during surgery, because more or less can lead to breathing and fatal health complications.
