they better focus on how dev takes back his business from amba or starting his own business, but nhi yeh log beech mein rakesh murder case ghusa diye aur abhi/chitara ka drama dikhane lag gye, isko family drama bna rhe, that is boring. rona dhona kaun dekhna pasand karega. 🥱

I think to get the right msg across (be it through Insta Live; Twitter; or email to channel / producers), my suggestion to the NUKSH crew would be in the following order:

1) Improve editing overall in the show especially when it comes to capturing special moments of the leads! Pls don't rush though them, and pls request editors not to plan too may transitions when Dev - Vidhi scenes are playing. Suddenly, don't insert HP-Bimla or Abhi-Priya or Amba-Yogesh scenes between Dev and Vidhi scenes! We are pointing it because in the initial tracks and episodes of the show, this didn't used to be the case, but now we are noticing it quite frequently!

Request makers not to reduce SS of the leads to accommodate other actors! Agree that the entire cast moves the narrative forward, but the show is primarily about Dev and Vidhi and their age-gap relationship!

3) Pls give a tighter storyline now that the leads are together, there is a section of ITV audience that wants to give a chance to better / more relatable stories. Story can be balanced in such a way to appease both traditional ITV audience and up and coming audience who want to consume wholesome, relatable content on TV. NUKSH has all the right ingredients and potential to be that path breaking show amidst the clutter of TV shows! Request you to look into this aspect as well.

I'm doubting if they will show anything remotely close to smart... All this while it was Dev's agni pariksha now I have this nagging feeling that vidhi may opt out of the marriage to help Dev's family members and to fulfill Amba's wishes..

But that will be so cliche, right!!

Why do all this effort in bringing them together when you have to eventually separate them, plus all of Vidhi's big words of being Dev's strength will prove to be hollow if she leaves him during his most difficult time... 🤢🤢Vidhi's character is already a bit tainted thanks to the Divya track, in this track makers have an opportunity to redeem it a bit... But if they separate Dev and Vidhi, thanks to Vidhi's mahaanta, her character is tossed out the window completely!

I think Amba will have initial victories in this track, because she has made a strong, well-thought plan this time and entangled not just Dev, but his entire family...

Let's see how long Amba has the upper hand, eventually something will snap! Dev will be helpless and vulnerable because his family is involved (whom he has protected for so many years); but he will rise from this stronger 💪💪

Main issue is makers are refusing to pay heed to feedback of viewers... I think the issue if leads' screen time.. Their overall looks and editing issues have been brought up on various platforms... They are too proud to acknowledge the issues and are proceeding at their own will..

I have never seen a show where leads were treated so bad that fans had to start such movements.. Unless this snowballs into a huge thing.. It won't even make a dent on their thick skulls.. 😤

This is the sad reality of ITV. I don’t think anything that is done will change the direction of the show from the makers perspectives. The only thing that might actually change is Rachana’s wardrobe might get an update. Which I think is a big enough win.

But unfortunately the way ITV has worked (and one might argue successfully so over the last many years) is based on different said/unsaid benchmarks.
A middle class person (and calling the Sharmas middle class is an over exaggeration), wears very simple clothes. a rich person (and per the shows standards, raichands are uber Rich) wear suits or these grand grand outfits. These are things that are prevalent across all shows in all languages on ITV.

Even in this show - Vidhi’s outfits have never been any version of normal - I think you were the one who said it - fatichar or chandelier. I believe that the main target for any/all ITV shows are the TRP audience watching on tv. And for decades they have been sensitized to these unsaid benchmarks, and it’ll take a complete mindset shift across producers/channels etc for us to start seeing a difference.
Back in the day, there were many such shows which met similar fates and I think people did try - but I honestly don’t think it made much of a difference.
I saw a few posts that were around the same topic - sorry I was MIA, it’s been a busy weekend. I do think it’s a good initiative, but I don’t see it really making much of a difference.

Very true.

I have another rant now, apologies in advance.

Why can’t they show a couple trying to deal with things in a normal way. Why does it have to be dramatized to this extent. If they show vidhi sticking through - it will be because of what that pandit ji said - not because it is the smart thing to do or the right thing to do. Because divine intervention says so.

If she leaves - it won’t be surprising because that’s the modus operandi of ITV. I am sure that is why they showed that fake SR - more drama possible with a probable pregnancy track.
Dev is a smart man, makers should not shy away from showing smart people actually can accomplish things in life without a sacrificial lamb of a wife. He can fix this mess and do so while keeping his family together.
