Is it a filmfare record or world record ? Some of the other wins in filmfare itself had people with smaller length roles walk away with awards. Amrish Puri died in first half of Virasat and he wasnt in second half and he managed to get the best supporting actor award. Same thing happened for him in Ghatak

They always did that with Filmfare, even pre-covid. There have definitely been live performances but it also depends on what the dance number is as in costumes etc.
Filmfare normally was around January. It’s just that covid threw everything off. I guess they’re slowly trying to go back to their regular time frame.
