It don't really have a particular story so the drama cannot be fast paced. Since there was so many characters they took 3-4 episodes just to show every character and their problems and their pov. They also show every aspect of a problem and everyone's take on that. The run time is also only 35-40mins. Since samiya's track is a bit complicated they had to take enough time to show all the angles related to it. Now that we have a clear picture of her track, they only show important scenes of that track. Her track only had 2-3 scenes in the last couple of episodes.
Also all the characters are like onions, they reveal new layers of each one in each episodes. Till now salman was very one dimensional and we all thought he is a very happy secure ideal person but now we know he has insecure and abandonment issues which makes aaliya and his relationship a little complex. Samiya looked very meek and docile till the last episodes but she knows how to speak up when she feels like it. Which proves her decision to marry saif was her choice. Good or bad it was her own choice and she seems to be prepared to bare the consequences no matter what the outcome is. Her mother cannot be completely blamed for it. She had a choice and she chose to marry saif. Saif was like a choomu till his conversation with aagaji. Aagaji was like the perfect human being till last episode. He is unnecessarily stubborn and won't take any other perspective other than his own. Shammo atleast was ready to hear samiya's and other's opinion. Aagaji ended up being more stubborn than shammo. Shagufta's father looked like a sensible person till she revealed he was a dominating a**hole that made her and her mother's life hard, shagufta is also a complex person who hated her father's dominating behaviour but ended up being like him in her relationship.
