So many examples. Monali, Bhoomi, Antara Mitra, Karunya (regional), Sireesha, Neha..as much as we dislike her .
Even Rahul Vaidya and Rohit have been more famous than winners of the season

that’s what I keep saying I hope that Arunita makes it big since she deserved last season and Senjuti deserves it this season. Even Shireesha from last year got that awesome song from Qala that was all over Insta reels etc. I’m hoping the same happens to Senjuti and Arunita and they get their fair due in terms of a promising career

Did anyone see Amaal Malik's Twitter thread on why he is working less nowadays?

News in last couple of days explains what we always doubted.. what's wrong with BW n music industry..no wonder it's going downhill

I think everyone knows and gets that this is a scripted show. The production team has a fixed format. A best singer ( Pawan/Rishi), one love angle etc.. Last season it was over praising Arunita’s beauty when there was really no need as she is super talented. So this year it’s Bipida’s beauty. Imho Bipida is normal looking and not exceptional that every guest has to praise her beauty and predict that she will become an actress🙄 Then they give here all these traditional clothes to project the sanskari angle when we have already seen her in modern clothes ( and she looks good in it).

So how difficult would it be for these contestants to succeed in BW as playback singers ! That coupled with the frequency at which reality shows r churned out.

The names that we hear today also got opportunities after struggling for years..except maybe Sireesha..but she was already part of A R Rahman's grp.

Pawan is still waiting for that opportunity even after winning two reality shows and being acquainted with industry people. He doesn't look like someone who would compromise with his music.

So instead of expecting instant success for our favs let's give them time to find their footing

How I yearn for the 1980s and 1990s type of scenario where music companies were independent and released music of non-film songs. We've spoken about that so many times on this forum!
