Same with me. I remember him getting rave reviews for Gulal but I wasn't much into ITV back then. The people I know who have watched that show say he was at his best there. They find his performance in Ghum inferior. Now I so badly want to watch the show but it isn't available on hotstar.

I have watched Gulal and he was amazing. He was very young then but still he portrayed the character of Kesar so well. On one side he showed his resentment towards his sister in law who later married him because he thought she was protecting his brother's killer and on the other side was besotted for her. He portrayed his hatred and love so convincingly.

Have heard good things about the show as well. People say it was ahead of its time.

Yes, it was because Gulal was Kesar's bhabhi. And, after her husband's death she marries Kesar who was 10 years younger than her to take his responsibility.

I know the rough overview of the show. I want to watch it but it isn't available on hotstar.

It was a cult show and Neil excelled as young Kesar . I wonder if that serial would have been aired today how the current lot of audiences active on SM would have reacted . In the age of shipping and desire to see only BTS , performance are not given importance . There are some episodes on daily motion .

No wonder I know many actors who hide their marriage status , play with fan feelings by giving false shipping feels to gain fandom .
