I have grown up watching brit shows such as eastenders/hollyoaks and trust me I have seen the couples go from totally in love to being attracted to the opposite gender!

But why I can't get used to this? Is it because I have different expectations from itv and especially rishta?

They sent him away for two episodes to pay for the Jhula and tent for NavShu.

can someone please explain how a man who couldnt even afford to buy a new pair of sock pay off the mortgage, buy a MS and then spend a fortune on the romantic set up, all this whilst he hasnt even worked for a single day since returning from udaipur and how come Mrs Sharma is not taking him to task on fissol ka karcha?

Why thet couldn't make it cliche I just don't understand! I'm sure trp would be much higher! Especially with a strong akshu! Roo ivf baby, abhir hating manjiri..the Sewers being humiliated by akshu!

I think all of us had different expectations from Rishta!

We never expected a character like Abhi to say and do the things from white day, atleast abuse and mistreatment were the last of it....at the end of that day, he just ended up being like his father inspite of loving the woman he was married to.

We never expected Akshu to transform back to looking like a lass from 70-80's Era...she was a music therapist and they absolutely destroyed her career & now her irrational latching onto a friend over her career and life lessons is indigestible. I think the biggest disappointment is she herself not being convinced with what she's settling for & getting no POV monologues from writer's.

Our expectations from these main character's are being fulfilled via sidey character's that makes the experience annoying! We are almost there Choco!

If we can just let go of this obsession of have they or have they not for the story, the story becomes more watchable. The makers know who the story belongs to end of the day!
