Murtasim is very salty about the contract. He literally went glued the contract page. When Meerab says “there no need to fix it” he says “Tum aise khud phadogi” and he has said this before also.

So even when Meerab confesses her love to Murtasim. He’ll be like Meerab can you tear that contract before making any move.

imagine:

Meerab : I love you, Murtasim.
Murtasim : I love you, too.

Murtasim: Meerab?

Meerab: hmm?

Murtasim: can you tear that contract?

Meerab: Murtasim, I said I love you and that contract doesn’t matter.

Murtasim: No. Meerab yaar kar do na tear. Tume yeh contract tear krna pdega.

I am mad that they aren't showing such imp thing which can give insight about meerasim relationship.

But what about meerab feelings.

She put their marriage future decision on only murtasim, didn't give the same option to meerab.

Because she thinks meerab doesn't want this marriage to work

Thats why meerab is not accepting murtasim as husband

To usse puchke kya fayda??? Usne to harkat se hi samjha diya woh nahi chahti yeh rishta. At least maa begum ne yehi samajh liya hein meerab ke murtu ko apna sohar wala haq na dene ke wajese.

So for maa begum its her son who's trying , to ussi se kaha ki chaho to talaq de sakte ho.

Also maa begum ke force se murtu ne haan kiya tha...to isiliye kaha meri permission hein. Taki murtu mb dukhi ho jayegi yeh sochke yeh rishta na nibhaye

Muratssim matter to MB. His happiness matters to her, Meerab’s does not.

She is his mother, she will think about him first, then about anybody else.

First every woman on this show other than Meerab hate their own gender. Meerab being how girls should be is shown as battamiz.

Second thing is why would ma begum care about meerab before murtasim. That's her parents job. Why don't they do the right thing by her and let her have a choice.

In the drama agar hinas character gets married to very nice guy after her husband dies and he takes care of her and her daughter like a dad. But she was forced by her family as they treated her like dirt in the house. Why not show her completing her education and living for herself and daughter. She's shown as battamiz because she isn't able to accept the new guy. She just went through a trauma. I mean you don't need enemies when you have a Desi family. This applies to like 95 percent cases.

Instead of girls getting disowned. Girls should disown horrid parents. Meerab did right with waqas and aneela.

In hospital scene she just threw meerab away by saying this girl doesn't consider my son as her husband making it seem like meerab not accepting marriage is a crime

But for murtasim she is giving decent choice. Why not the same consideration for meerab.

For her, if her son wants the marriage to work then meerab too should accept the marriage.

If her son doesn't want it, then meerab too shouldn't.
