Neil is doing a wonderful job these days . He was off post leap but he is back and old Neil can be seen . His quick change of expressions within few seconds is not something everyone can do with ease.

Virat is the most butchered character in ITV but yet people relate to him because of Neil . Its easy to portray a well written character but portraying a character that is made to flip like dosa is not easy .

I wont be wrong if I say Neil is back .Wondering if the script was purposely written to show V as ambiguous .

I don't know about any offscreen dynamics neither do I care, I never felt his acting off. I watched 700 plus episodes in one go and found him convincing every single time. Or may be I was used to the mediocre acting of ITV leads now a days that's why I find his acting superior.

The only time I felt off was after Savi reveal and before accident track . His feelings were ambiguous .

Ambiguous I agree but that's the character arc not the acting. The one thing I found out is that people here mix offscreen and onscreen things. When one watches the show without any bias everything makes sense even the characters.

Now when I look back I feel it was part of script then it felt something was amiss . Now after V’s confession i rewatched few tracks and I had different view . Yes offa teen issues sometimes clouds people mind .

I've a different understanding for the narrative and V's actions. May be I'm from the different school of thought and I perceive things differently. In fact when I started watching the show I was pretty sure I'm going to hate this guy going by what people on social media said. But I was only connected to his character after watching all the episodes.
